The Smithfield, Serviced Apartments

Overall excellent. Very clean and stylishly decorated. In particular the over-the-phone service by Andrea was excellent. (May 19)
The property was well decorated and kept very very clean. The self check in service & door code system with also very convenient! The staff who were contacted by text & call by myself were also very helpful & approachable! I always dealt with Andrea and she was super helpful & a credit to the team. (May 19)

Sharing a new edition to our Serviced Accommodation portfolio. Orchard House, Wolstanton. A 4 bedroomed house, 1 x KS bedroom with en-suite, 3 x single bedrooms, with 2 further shared bathrooms -1 upstairs bath & shower room & 1 downstairs shower room. Open plan kitchen / dinner and lounge. Sleeps 5 people.
It's actually been up and running for a few months, with a long term booking for contractors working on a project in the city. They have been very happy with it, and we have been able to add some finishing touches. We are nearly ready to start taking weekend bookings.
So here are a few pic's :)

What a cracking review we have just had :) from a guest who stayed in Apartment 3 over the weekend.
"We have just returned home after a wonderful weekend at the Smithfield Apartments. This was the 2nd time we’d stayed and it most definitely won’t be the last! We stayed for my birthday weekend and were welcomed with a bottle of wine left for us by the hosts 😍 A very thoughtful and kind gesture! The apartments are beautiful, well equipped and extremely spacious. The living area... is comfortable and relaxing too with a lovely sofa and big TV (which has Netflix!). The apartments are in a perfect location, only a short walk to the supermarket and local restaurants. They also have their own private car park which is very reassuring!! We could happily have moved into the apartments permanently if we could!! We will definitely be back to stay again!"

Im gathering information, to make a large mural for the main hallway at The Smithfield, finding out some fascinating things re the area, the people etc. This one is new to me!!! who knew? does anyone else have any fab historical facts about the area?

A Merchant Navy Officer, he served as master of numerous White Star Line vess...els. However he is best known as the Captain of the RMS Titanic, who perished when the ship sank on its maiden voyage.
Smith attended the Etruria British School until the age of 13, when he left and operated a steam hammer at the Etruria Forge. In 1867, aged 17 he went to Liverpool in the footsteps of his half-brother Joseph Hancock, a captain on a sailing ship. He began his apprenticeship on Senator Weber, owned by A Gibson & Co. of Liverpool.

These apartments are ideal for anyone visiting the Stoke-on-Trent area. Much better value and higher quality than any of the area hotels. Emma and Steve were in the building cleaning another unit when we arrived; they were incredibly friendly and made sure we were able to access our unit successfully. Very clean and very comfortable. Gated off-street private parking lot was also a bonus. We have family in the area and plan to stay here every time we visit from now on.

Another Happy Customer ;) : Highly recommend staying here if you need to be close to centre of Stoke-on-Trent. Really lovely apartment which was stocked with everything you would want for a weekend away. Emma was always available to answer any queries and on the whole was a great host.

This lovely little cafe is just a few minutes walk from our apartments and we highly recommend it! We manage to squeeze in a visit every time we stay. the food is gorgeous, the Coffey is excellent and the staff are typical Stokey... as warm and welcoming as they come!

OoooH!!! this looks to be super scary , only 25 mins away from the Smithfield :)
