What a fabulous find on our weekend away. Popped in for a quick drink then left 2 hours later. Staff so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great with a great playlist to add to this experience. There was a cocktail making party happening whist we were here and this looked like great fun. Will be returning again that’s for sure

Went here on Saturday night and we liked it so much we went back Sunday during the day! The cocktails are amazingly good and the food is so tasty! Good variety on the menu and waiters all lovely and polite and as much as they are busy they still had time to chat and make small talk! Great place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere

We came yesterday for our joint stag and hen do! Fantastic atmosphere, brilliant food, we were served by Rhea I think her name was and she was fantastic, really brilliant and told us some fun facts about things, made sure we were all ok and even gave me and my partner a free tipple to celebrate our day! Friendly helpful staff and beautiful food! Thank you thank you thank You!! ���

Visited twice in three days during our recent stay in Liverpool. Great service from Conor! Lovely food both nights but slightly disappointed to have a starter of calamari half the size of the previous visit, but still a great meal.

Loved it! Visited for the first time today with my husband and children (4 and nearly 2). Our waitress Hannah was fab, especially with the kids. My son has a wheat intolerance and she went straight in to the kitchen to double check if one of the meals would be suitable - he loved his mini hanging chicken kebab! My daughter's already asked to go back for the pirates ice cream �

Just back from my hen weekend in Liverpool. We spent Friday night in the Smugglers Cove and had to go back again on Saturday. We didn’t have time to drop in again on Sunday but next time we’re in Liverpool we’ll definitely be back. All the staff were so nice. Special shout out to the two legends Mike and Chris who really looked after us and were great fun

Incredibly busy on arrival,hostess suggested a wait of 45 minutes. Thought everywhere on the Albert dock woukd be similar so chose to have cocktails while we waited. Got a tap on the shoulder after 20 minutes to say a table was available. Staff were amazing!! Falling over themselves to help and good banter too. My good lady went for steak sandwich while 8 chose rotisserie chicken which fell apart beautifully and came with a very tasty and powerful hot sauce.....cant recommend enough....will certainly be back to try other stuff on menu....well done all the staff who kept their heads and sense of mischief even when incredibly busy.

First time to Liverpool and dropped on this gem, what a great place for atmosphere, food and drink and nice to have great staff looking after you.

First time going in yesterday for the Pirates On The Pier day, me & my friend came in to have a few drinks & we liked the inside of the building whilst we sat at the big table with the 2 comfy arm chairs at each end, very polite & friendly staff, would deffinately recommend :-) :-)

Fantastic restaurant & bar! Food was fresh & delicious, staff friendly & helpful. Lovely cocktail menu, all made with enthusiasm by the brilliant bar staff. Fantastic meal with a great choice of food ... I had the steak and ale pie and my partner had the tomato/sesame pork and they were delicious ... Matt the server was very helpful and the atmosphere was amazing with great decor and quaint serving barrels .... highly recommend and we will definitely be going back .....

Celebrating my hubbys birthday. We had a fantastic experience sampling lots of rum and the food was to die for. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and we will be back in the new year

Been here numerous times and I’ll keep coming back. Not only is the food great, but the staff are fantastic as well. There are food options for everyone, including a great vegan range, I can highly recommend the falafel burger.

Amazing place with a fantastic atmosphere. Food was great at a table looking onto the dock. Just happened to be Pirates weekend too.

Amazing food, atmosphere and lovely staff. Went in last night, had some amazing hanging chicken kebab and rum!! Our waiter Tom couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. If you're visiting Liverpool then don't miss a trip here

After a mix up in communication.. the manager Niall sorted are whole night out tonight . Absolute credit to the company excellent service and amazing food thank you for a fab night

We went here after a meal on the dock. Great atmosphere, the cocktails were fabulous and I had too many but thoroughly enjoyed my time here

The atmosphere was very good. We enjoyed our starters, but were disappointed when our mains arrived whilst still eating our starters. The waiter just mumbled something and left the mains when we pointed out we had just started our food. It spoilt our lunch.

Looked like a great place to eat but on arrival we were told there were no tables but we could eat at one of the tables near the bar. No menus given to us or explanation of were we could get them. After getting up to try and find menus we ordered at the bar and waited for our food for over 45 minutes for starters. No cutlery given so we had to get up and ask a waitress who was stood around, she was very unhelpful and rude opening a draw and allowing me to grab the cutlery myself. We then had to wait a further 40 minutes for mains because there was a mix up which had gone unnoticed. The food was no good too. After complaining to the manager he offered us another round of drinks which was nice but never made up for the poor food and waste of our time. We won't be going back there unfortunately.
