We were at Eastbourne for the day, and chose to have a meal in The Smugglers as we usually do when we are visiting, booked the restaurant and it didn’t fail to please, was up to its usual standard Excellent we opted for the pate and mushrooms for our starters, and the Crab Salad for mains, both starters and mains were superb, sadly we didn’t have room for a dessert, but the sounded lovely. We are looking forward to re visiting again before too long, if you are in the area anytime don’t pass it by pay a visit you won’t be disappointed, staff also friendly.

The locals and landlady were so friendly thanks for a lovely stopover in our motor home x

Sue and all the staff are welcoming , children dogs are so welcomed and. A bonus in the summer a big play area so parents and grandparents can relax . The food is very homely cooked and is delicious . So much so I booked my big 50 and cannot wait us I know it will be a great night to remember

I was the Dj for a birthday party at this pub on the 18th march 2017 what a fantastic pub this is, very friendly and welcoming the land lady is very attentive and goes that extra mile for her customers something you dont see a lot of these days. Wonderful atmosphere great staff.

I had my 60th birthday party here on Saturday night it was fantastic, many thanks to sue and team you really had your work cut out for you, it was so busy I could recommend this as a place to hold any event, the food is fantastic anyway, but does a lovely buffet as well, thanks Sue once again you were brilliant xxxxxxxx

Great Lunch today, lovely service from the team, compliments to the chefs as the food was fab, fresh piping hot hearty portions, veg was spot on! Would definitely recommend. Will be back to try more of the menu.

Called in yesterday for Sunday Lunch & had a truly amazing meal! Piping hot,generous portions & it was just so tasty! We are always in Sussex & Kent searching the ultimate Roast Dinner & this has got to be the best we have found!For desert I had Strawberry & White Chocolate Cheesecake with cream & that also was gorgeous! What a find! Will definitely be going back soon!
