There's been a shake-up in the Snowboarding world with the original guy behind the Bataleon Snowboards Triple Base concept selling his majority share to the Nidecker Brothers.... Oh and they bought Rome Snowboards too!
Here's the official line....
We would like to update you on some exciting changes at Low Pressure Studio (Bataleon Snowboards, Lobster Snowboards and Switchback Bindings).... On the 20th of July, 2018, Jorgen Karlsen sold his majority share in LPS to the Nidecker brothers (Henry, Xavier and Cedric). Their rider driven approach excites all of us here at LPS and we look forward to working with them.
Danny Kiebert and Dennis Dusseldorp will remain shareholders in LPS and continue to steer the company from our Amsterdam headquarters. This change in structure puts us in the best position to offer the most innovative snowboards on the market while also opening up opportunities for expanding the product offering and exploring new categories.
On the 26th of July, 2018, the Nidecker Brothers purchased the iconic snowboard brand ROME SDS and we welcome ROME SDS to our LPS portfolio of rider driven brands.
ROME SDS design, product and marketing will be run from their office in Vermont but all administration, logistics and operations will move to the LPS offices in Amsterdam and Seattle.
We hope that you are as exited about this as we are and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
This is an exciting time for LPS and we would like to thank you for all the years of support you’ve given us. We look forward to the future together while continuing to offer the best possible service.

Well it may be 30 degrees out there today but we're busy prepping our website for winter and just stumbled on this epic picture in the Jones Snowboards catalogue of Jimmy Goodman at Mammoth.
The snow last winter was insane and it totally felt like winter wasn't going to stop. Our best day on the hill was in Morzine testing boards for Whitelines Snowboarding on the Jones Mind Expander. I travelled from Southampton to Fleet on a Friday morning to buy a pair of Snowboard boots. Despite being a little short staffed due to staff absence, Darren made the journey worthwhile and gave great advice and spent at least an hour talking me through all of the different options available. I tried on at least 5 different pairs of boots before I ended up buying a pair of Thirty Two Lashed FT boots. It was really great friendly service and a nice mug of coffee. Thanks Darren. Looking forward to my holiday in Feb and my boots are breaking in nicely.

Heading out to Austria for a month this winter, The Snowboard Show helped me out with choosing my first board and bindings for my style of riding. 'Nothing's too much trouble' kinda people! Very patient and informative. Thanks a lot guys����

Getting the whole family kitted out for the first time so have been back there 2 weekends in a row, both guys are amazingly helpful, and they will advise on what is best for you. They certainly don't try and push the most expensive, think we've definitely found our "go to" place ��

After searching high and low on the internet I stumbled across The Snowboard Shop. The guys were very helpful finding me a pair of snowboard boots to fit my wide feet, showing me a wide range of make/styles - the guys focused on comfort rather than price...... Ended up buying a helmet and pair of mittens too! I'll definitely be back.

A very big thankyou to Darren and staff for their friendly and knowledgeable advice in selecting the correct snowboard boots. It's great to talk to people that use this equipment themselves and give you an honest opinion. Thoroughly recommended!
