Roaring fires and a friendly atmosphere welcome you to the excellent and well-appraised restaurant which offers a delightful menu with interesting dishes created from fresh, local produce.

As a freehouse, The Somerset Arms has the freedom to select and present the greatest ales from local breweries (of which there are many) along with all the favourite ales and beers. The utmost care is taken to ensure that the perfect pint is pulled everytime and that there is always a wide and varied selection of beverages to choose from.

The Somerset Arms is the ideal venue for celebrations and meetings for groups of all sizes - offering full catering and free WIFI. There are also three comfortable ensuite bedrooms available in the B& B.

The Somerset Arms has been a coaching inn for hundreds of years. Records suggest that, as far back as the 16th century, ales were served to travellers and highwaymen who traversed what became the busy A350. The pub is named after the Duke of Somerset, who was a great landowner in the area.
