The Songbird Southampton

What a gem of a place! Amazing ice cream (I'm drooling just thinking about it again), fab coffee, relaxed surroundings and very friendly staff. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

We love that we live locally to this brilliant friendly inviting ice cream cafe, perfect treat after a walk/play at river side park 😍

We had the waffles and they were delicious! Staff were really friendly and attentive. Will definately go back again and they have a highchair for our little one. Toilets are very clean and lots of room upstairs to park our buggy.

We had a lovely ice cream and sorbet. Sat in the shadey back garden and enjoyed the colouring in. A blissful after school experience.

Was on our way to sprinkles when my partner noticed this place!! Have been totally converted!! The ice cream is amazing! I had succulent strawberry and also tried my sons bubblegum one and my partners toffee one!! They were all amazing!! I want to try them all!! Would highly recommend!! Staff were also very friendly and welcoming!! Lovely little shop xxx

Very welcoming and easy to order service. Love the displays for the selections. Great ambience and lovely little pockets of seating area. Great food, located near the park, bonus. X

The kids loved our visit to The Songbird. The waffles are soooo good and there is so much to choose from.

Relaxed but lively atmosphere with massive choice of fabulous Marshfield ice cream. Really friendly staff and live music on Fridays. Interior reminds me of New England with the white panelling and lots of natural light. Favourite cafe in Southampton by a mile!

Lovely staff, tasty ice cream & sorbet and such a pretty space! A great selection for kids too. Also love the cards, jewellery and other bits for sale.

Love this place.... scrumptious ice cream. My son chose a lemon sorbet but he had a mouth ulcer so couldn't eat it ... the lovely lady who served replaced the ice cream f.o.c .... very kind.

Durig the Recent Snow Days.

We ventured out with friends and had to pop in for a coffee, cake and hot chocolate...

BRILLIANT!!!!! After walking from Mansbridge, we walked to the Triangle. I fancied a cofffee and the kids fancied and Ice Cream. Faced with nothing other than a Co-op of a corner shop we were about to turn round whan we saw Cup and Cones. 'wouldn't it be good if they did coffee and ice cream.......' Well, thats exactly what we found. Friendly staff who were more than happy to talk with us and the kids. Brilliant idea. We shall return next time we visit the area!

Amazing place with great ice cream..... i ll make sure i stop by at least once every month as i live few miles away.

Agree with all the positive comments you can also get an amazing cup of tea how unusual to see the teapot and cup being warmed prior to service what a difference it made! Oh and the cake was great too!!

Absolutely love coming here! My daughter loves the games & books & the unicorn ice cream. Varied menu & reasonable prices, plus you can buy really pretty things too!

A relaxing space with the most wonderful icecream and hot chocolate. The impressive selection on the book-swap shelves makes me come back all the time.
