excellent service, very thoughtful and extremely conscientious. I took my 3 children (2 teenages and one 7yrs) and myself all glass wearers so i have been to many Opticians but this is the best one by far.

You only find the true strength of a company when things go wrong. We had some issues with our spectacles but Robert and the team sorted everything out to our satisfaction ( not an easy task!) If you value service and expertise, I recommend that you give them a chance to supply your next pair of spectacles.

What a fabulous place, I have been going to the spectacle factory for years and years. Always a warm and friendly welcome, an incredible eye for detail and a service second to none. It is unlike any other optician or high street equivalent. I really thoroughly enjoy my visits, appointments are leisurely and friendly. I have just bought some beautiful spectacles and once again I couldn’t be happier. Huge thanks to ALL the staff I love you all.

Stunning service,... simply ordering a replacement pair of lenses for some Nike sunglasses... and they couldn't have been more helpful in sourcing the lenses, keeping in touch via email, phone and text and ensuring they were with me asap.

So forget you should have gone to Specsavers you really should go to the spectacle factory. Robert and the team provide a world class service in a seemingly effortless way. The customer care following purchase is also second to none. My glasses are tailored exactly to all my requirements and I can honestly say they are the best purchase I have ever made and my sight has never been corrected to this standard since I was 9 years old and that's 43 years ago!

Rob and the staff were so good to put up with me. Got my glasses updated after 3 years. Can't believe how friendly they are.

Purchased some designer glasses for my son , wow what can I say , great glasses , ,great price and really helpful young lady ,had us sorted in no time . Very pleased and so is my fussy teenager . Would definitely recommend . Thank you

Just picked up our prescription sunglasses from Rob. Amanda, my missus, was the first to have Modo frames with the polarised lenses - they are absolutely fantastic - nothing like it on the market around here. As usual the service was exceptional with all the staff working as one big happy family making us feel very welcome and showing a genuine interest in us. Special mention for Sarah and Ruth - Joel also makes a pretty mean brew! Recommended highly with total confidence.

Its name and location might suggest that The Spectacle Factory is some also-ran outfit out in the wilds. Nothing could be farther from the truth. It is a large, comfortable and calm space, with stock to match (and more) many of the multiple and niche outfits to be found in large town centres and small-town high streets.



Because of its location, near Sainsburys at Bamber Bridge, there is no issue with town centre traffic and parking in its own grounds is readily available.



All the staff are friendly, efficient and focused entirely on the customer.



If this sounds like an unsolicited recommendation, that's what it is intended to be. If i'd been, for example, to a fine restaurant or car sale room, I'd recommend them. So why not an opticians.

I went to the spectacle factory last week after my dog had chewed my glasses up. Sarah found my prescription and my new glasses were ready the same day.

I absolutely cannot thank Sarah enough.

I bought my first ever pair of varifocals from The Spectacle Factory earlier this month. I've worn glasses since my early 20's and my search for the 'perfect' pair has taken almost 50 years but, at last, my search for the Holy Grail ' is over. The Spectacle Factory helped in my search. What a fabulous bunch of people. Nothing is too much trouble and they spend time explaining the various tests. I'd had a bad experience with my previous high street optician and put off having another eye test for almost 10 years. A family member recommended The Spectacle Factory and my appointment was pain free and informative. The word Factory is misleading. The building isn't very inspiring from the outside by don't let that put you off. The inside is just like any opticians. The staff are friendly, patient and, most important of all, have a sense of humour! I left after my first appointment feeling that I'd had a positive experience. Worth ten stars! Oh, and almost forgot - I love my new glasses!

Having had my eyes tested for quite some time paid a visit to THE SPECTALE FACTORY because it say factory in its title nothing could be further from to truth a modern up to date opticians with the most friendly staff. at the end of my tests I needed glasses for driving choose the frames I needed from a wide selection and my glasses where ready in 1 hour Located on the outskirts of Bamber Bridge with plenty of parking you don't need to go to town and find somewhere to park I would certainly recommend them they are the most helpful an polite staff and I will return in the future

Finally, after 25 years, I have finally found a decent Optician!

Cannot say how good my vision is with my new glasses.

You are not treated as if you are on a conveyor belt and everything is explained to you great detail with time no object.

Could not recommend higher.

Fantastic service. Needed some glasses urgently as mine had broken and could not drive. Could not have asked for more helpful staff. Helped me get my prescription from a previous optician and select some frames within my budget. Would highly recommend.

An amazing experience going for an eye test. Staff very helpful. They have all the time in the world for you. Even a cup of tea and biscuits. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Fantastic service .
