The arrangements for Mel Jacksons funeral are Friday 8th March at Hollingwood Crematorium at 3.30pm and then here at The Spinners Arms.. Mel was not only the captain of our pool team which he had always shown great commitment to over the years but he was also a well liked regular in the pub. He will be sadly missed...

what i think of the spinners where can i start, there is every thing about the spinners not just the spinners but the two people that run it as well very friendly and helpfull in every way, i dont know them that well but they sure made me felt at home even tho mick barred my dog jess, but i get my own back on that lol, no i am joking, no the pub has done very well in the last 3 months since they moved in, and i hope that people will suport them with a high standard, even the bar staff cant do enough for you, so good luck to stacey and mick good luck or shall i say a bit of irish luck to ya both, the top of the morning to ya,

We came for tea tonight and it was amazing! As a vegan it’s really hard to find places to eat, but here they went above and beyond to make sure I had a lovely meal!

Visited yesterday for Sunday Roast and it was very very good!

During the weekdays there is a lot of choice but Sunday is Roast Dinner with a choice of Roast Beef or Chicken which neither of my children will have and the Landlady and Landlord went out of their way and did sausage, chips and beans and pizza for them! The roast dinners were massive! I will have the childs portion next time as there was lots... mash, roasties, cauli, cabbage, broccolli, carrots and yummy gravy. A very good price for four of us, childrens desserts and drinks.

It is so nice to have a 'local pub' within walking distance that does good food also with a good menu for week days. Will be back as it saved me cooking!

User
