This means you can buy lovely gifts from the stallholders and have Christmas all wrapped up early.

Well we have got all the wooden baubles ready for people to purchase to personalise for £5 (please see previous post explaining more).
Maybe you want to create one in the name of someone you have lost or perhaps you want to send your Christmas message to the local community. Whatever your reason, let us know if you want one and we will get one to you ASAP.
The only choice to make is if you want one with a silver or blue ribbon.

For this year’s event, we are again having a village Christmas tree that will be officially lit on the night.
This tree will be positioned for all to see and so we thought it would be nice for people to have the chance to display community messages for friends and family and also for those that have been lost. Therefore, we have got a stock of wooden bauble shapes and you can have one to personalise with decoration and/or a personal message for a £5.00 donation.
The person...alised baubles can then be added to the tree on the night, or at another convenient time if you are unable to make the event.
Nowadays, many people give money to charity instead of sending Christmas cards and so we saw this as a chance to spread messages of love, whilst also raising money for a local cause.
As many villagers will be aware, the village hall committee are currently trying to raise money to ensure that improvements can be made to the village hall to make it even better for everyone.
In order to help with this we have decided that all money given for the message baubles will be given to to this cause.
If you are interested in having a message bauble, please get in contact via this thread or a PM and we will get a bauble to you before the event. They will also be available on the night.

You only need to book if you want your children to see Father Christmas.

Amber from Greenscene’s Potting Shed has kindly agreed to join us at this year’s event.
She will be sharing her green fingered talent with any children and adults who want to create a special decoration for the Christmas table.
Amber will be using red flower pots, but otherwise they will look similar to the image in the photograph and I am sure you will agree that these will make lovely gifts as well.
... There will be a small charge of around £4.00 for these wonderful decorations.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Sussex Wreaths will be attending our event this year. The wreaths are created using a collection of locally foraged items and other festive decorations.

We are pleased to announce that Andi’s Little Bookshop will be joining us this year with their Usborne Books.
Usborne books make such wonderful gifts for children and they have such a large range to choose from.

Another great stall ‘Tracy’s Little Gift Shop’ will be appearing at ‘The Spirit of Christmas’ this year.
Tracy’s Little Gift Shop sells many gifts ranging from Himalayan salt lamps to lighting gifts and bath bombs.

It is lovely that Councillor Nancy Bikson will be coming along to ‘The Spirit of Christmas’ this year in order to support the community she represents and in which she lives.

For those of you wanting a real taste of Christmas, members of the Village Hall Committee will be serving mulled wines and minces pies.
There will be tea and coffee available, along with drinks for children and snacks.
All proceeds will go towards the Village Hall Refurbishment Fund.

Great news that another local company can join us for ‘The Spirit of Christmas’ this year.
Firebird Brewing Company has been on the brewing scene since 2013 when two friends, who first met when training to become master brewers, reunited and realised they could go on to create something amazing. Firebird as a brand was then born.
