Wine tasting, 12 noon till 6pm today Sunday 18 June. Three wines (decent tasting size), ham & cheese £10. Wines by the glass from £4 to £7. You can buy the wine you have tasted to take home for the evening! Smoked salmon plate and a bread roll £5 to line the stomach. Or just turn up and buy a bottle of something special.
The wine list has been updated as we already ran out of some wines after yesterday's success.
Wow, the wines were flowing yesterday, the stables were full. Julia Maria Eckert from Quinta das Marias was here to talk to tasters about the Cuvee TT and Touriga Nacional Reserva reds. She will be with us again today only. A unique opportunity to taste the wines then buy to enjoy at home later. 12 - 9.30 today.

The stables wine will pop up with some fine Portuguese wines from the Dao region next Friday 16 June: 6pm - 9pm, Saturday 17 June 12 noon - 9pm, and Sunday Sunday 18 June 2017 12 noon to 7pm. 😀
Douro wine producers visits and tasting.... for July?
It's summer and we will be hosting one wine pop up week end each month until it gets cold again. This week end, guest wines will be sone superb Touriga National/Tinta Roriz reds and fine Encruzado and Malvasia whites we sampled during our research trip in the Dao region, north of Portugal, last year.
The Stables is closed until we pop up again. In the meantime, send us a message to order some wine for pick up.
