Wonderful family friendly pub. Staff are all so welcoming and smiling. Also dog friendly which is lovely. Really enjoyed coming here highly recommend!

Went yesterday with the family meal was perfect staff couldn't do enough love this place

We eat at The Stamford Bridge regularly and when family or friends visit, it is our go-to restaurant. I can't recall ever experiencing anything other than superb service and delicious fresh food.



I DO recall breathing in a piece of food whilst laughing and then trying to choke for the next 5mins without disturbing other diners пҝҪ I saw the reflection of the waiter excuse himself from another table and quickly brought me a glass of water without hesitation.



Looking forward to Summer and food in the new conservatory. пҝҪ

The Play Bus Cheshire had a great day at the BBQ, thank you to all the people that played on the bus

Sat outside on the new decking area, lovely staff, lovely food. Only thing is that you canвҖҷt see the play area from the decking so we had to keep getting up. There are tables/benches nearer but no food allowed in those areas? Other than that love it.

Our family of 5, inc 2 year old, stopped in on way back to our campsite after spending the day at Chester Zoo, we did not have a reservation booked. We were greeted at the door by friendly (and funny) member of staff, given our menus and shown to our table, we asked to sit outside as it was a nice Saturday evening and we could see down to the kiddies play area. We ordered fish and chips x 3 and 1 x chicken Burger and chips, and a small plate to share our meals with Jnr. Everything came quickly and tasted fantastic. The bar staff were really friendly as well. Would definitely visit again if in that area.

Amazing Sunday roast! The food is just absolutely delicious and the service is friendly and efficient - even the manager came over to check we were enjoying our meals. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Absolutely superb Sunday Roast yesterday, it was that good I would have eaten it all again, my new favourite place for Sunday Lunch, possibly the best I've eaten at any pub or restaurant!!! Thank you, we WILL be back!! Xx

Absolutely 10/10 on the food, it was delicious. I was gutted I couldnвҖҷt fit it all in. The staff were all very friendly and genuinely looked happy to be there. The place itself is very warm and inviting, we were so glad we came across this place on our way home to Coventry and will definitely make sure we go back some time, even if itвҖҷs a bit out of our way.

From the minute I booked right up to and including the day, Emma really made everything go smoothly for my MumвҖҷs Surprise 60th Birthday. We visit here on a regular basis, last time being last night, we always have a superb meal , and nothing is to much for Richard and his team, they look after us always with a smile and kind words no matter how busy they are , there very professional....we have tried lots of eatery's but keep coming back to the best! рҹ‘ҚрҹҚҪпёҸ ...thanks to Richard and all the team ...рҹҳң

My husband had the roast dinner which included a lamb shank and he was told that it would be a lamb shank by your lovely staff. Food was excellent as was the service. We havenвҖҷt visited for a while but will certainly be back.

Went for a meal with friends as we havent been since the re vamp, looks really stunning inside! We had 3 mix & share starters were really nice but the mac & cheese was a bit dry.. Mains i had lamb shank and asked if i could swap the braised cabbage for cauliflour gratin. Went to cut into my gratin to find a large piece of baking parchement on it, the lady took it back and they replated it for me but after that it was a lovely meal! Just a dissapointment about the parchment paper.

We used to be regular visitors to the Stamford bridge however after a bad meal back in April which I put down to maybe because we had chosen something different. Decided to give it another go last night - this was a mistake. Firstly we waited a considerable amount of time for our drinks to arrive and when we did we couldn't drink them as they didn't taste right - we asked for them to be changed which they were but again tasted awful - third time lucky - they were drinkable. One member if the party had a knife missing from their place - we asked for a knife but this never arrived. Food was ok - food here used to be amazing but for the second time this year it was just ok - I had lasagne and it was missing some of what it used to have and was pretty dry - appeared it had maybe been warmed up in microwave - and garlic bread was hard. Probably won't visit again which is a real shame as used to be one of my favourite restaurants and used to come once a month.

My meal was lovely - scampi and chips. The smaller portion was just the right amount for me. However my 98 year old Mum had the smaller portion fish and chips and the fish was over cooked. Also we asked for garden peas not mushy peas and the incorrect peas were on the plate. This was quickly changed but Mum said the peas were not really cooked and not very hot. We have been here many times before and enjoyed our meals but unfortunately this visit was very disappointing which is a real shame as the staff and management are extremely helpful.

We booked a table of 13 to have meal yesterday at 6:30.....my family had looked at menu previously to decide what we wanted...i had chosen the fish and chips as a friend of mine who had been before had said how nice it looked and was really looking forward to the 'hand cut chip's'....my daughter had decided on the duo of meats roast.....when we sat down we were told they couldn't do the duo of meats as they had sold out of beef so only had pork.... there was no fish and there was no hand cut chips....there were also other things they had sold out of...had it been just my family I would have left and gone somewhere else because there was nothing else I really wanted as the beef would have been my second choice but as we were other people we had to stay....i chose the scampi that came with mushy peas which really isn't the same with skinny fries...my young niece had just a burger as it was a brioche bun and she's dairy allergic so can't eat it but the burger was dry and hard not nice at all.....everyone commented on how slow the service was too....to be fair everyone else had nice meal but just couldn't believe at 6:30 they had sold out so many things....was going to complain last night but it was my mum's birthday and didn't want to spoil it for her....was not impressed worst of all my mum wasn't and it was her birthday.

Very disappointed never been given a lamb shank on a Sunday roast very greasy doesnвҖҷt state on the menu it really should expected sliced meat would of sent it back but the other dinners I was with had their meals didnвҖҷt want to eat separate the guy who served up was very cocky something was said and I commented the customer is always right and he said their not say no more
