New menus! My new favourites are the fishcake burger and the Monterey Jack Bean Parcels. The All Out Burger (previously the Beta Burger) is now a permanent fixture! Thanks to our quite brilliant designer!
Merry (almost) December everyone. We only have a few dates left available now if anyone is thinking about a Christmas meal or party. Get in there quick!

Now Halloween is done we can all get excited about the next big event. England v South Africa 3pm saturday. Free half time chilli and hot dogs and a charity raffle. See you there!

From Wednesday we are proud to say we will be serving locally produced vegan burgers with vegan cheese alongside our normal menu.

What a pub,what a atmosphere, what a night!!!A fantastic monday night. The knitting laydies, and the folkmusic group made this a fantastic night.Bett cheesedoodles is a word that everyone is going to remember from the norwegian guys!

Staff are wonderful, fantastic selection of drinks, great pub food, lovely old building...and, more importantly, the staff are wonderful. I can't say that enough. All the best.

Fabulous pub! Had a birthday celebration at the weekend and reserved the back room. The Star did all the food and it was awesome. Very tasty, very reasonable and very good. Thank you.

Amazing Christmas dinner for my work do. Loads of food, lovely staff and completely stuffed.
Always enjoy frequenting this pub when we cruise down the river to Godalming, lots of beers & ciders always on draft and people talk, not shout as I find in other places.
Absolutely great pub, great beer, great food and free juke box, ended up started there for a 2nd stag do and ended up spending the whole day there! Really great place can't recommend it enough.
A proper pub. Friendly staff and an excellent selection of beers. Try the Halloumi!
A great pub with a great atmosphere, and the bar staff are friendly and very efficient. The food is excellent, very reasonably priced, and plenty of it. Sitting in the garden on a sunny day with friends and a beer, is my idea of a perfect day
