Would highly recommend to anyone, spend 10 month minimum in hotels around the uk and it’s up with the best, very friendly and helpful staff, all you need on the doorstep, won’t look for anywhere else when in the area again, can’t fault it

What a brilliant place to stay I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gloucester the rooms are tidy and spacious and always clean towels every day the staff are so warm and friendly from the management to the room cleaners to the bar staff

The bar is warm and inviting as well as the wide selection of beers ciders and ales

The food is very delicious with plenty on a plate to fill a weary travellers belly

If you book a room or just wanting a friendly place to have a drink I would 110 per cent recommend this as the place to go

We've stayed in a few hotels and nothing has ever compared to the stay we've had at The Station Hotel. The management and the staff have made us feel welcome right from the moment we walked in. We will definitely be back. Don't overlook this little gem :)

Visited the station hotel recently, the room was everything I needed. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and very accommodating. And overall friendly atmosphere and very central to train station and city centre

There breakfast is amazing !! Not on 29 Octt did I have it but previously and even I don't drink tea or coffee they went out of their way to give me endless fresh orange instead ��must try !!

The staff is the most friendliest and the atmosphere is so good. The drinks are of reasonable price and myself and my boyfriend have had a great night ! Highly recommended this hotel and will revisit!!!!!!!��

The best bar tender at this pub is hands down chase she's so cool and good at her job she allways make you feel special and nothing is ever too much trouble top job chase �

Stayed for 1 night for New Years Eve. What a lovely place. Friendliest staff ever. Our room was dated and needs a bit of an update but was spotless. Great New Years party. Breakfast next morning was lovely. Will definitely be returning for another stay. Loved Gloucester. Special thanks to Sharon, a lovely lady. Thanks everyone.

Lovely afternoon tea! V friendly helpful staff. Gammon in sandwiches beautiful - still warm! Scones soft & fresh - better than many places we have been where they can be a bit rock hard. You may not be the poshest of places but our clean plates tell u what we think!

I don't often give 5 star reviews but, these guys totally deserve it. So friendly and helpful. Excellent food, lovely bedrooms and nice atmosphere. They fitted us in at short notice too. Tracy, Kelly, Sue and Carl are just awesome.

Fantastic food and customer service from both kitchen and bar staff. I would highly recommend the steak and chicken. Combo.

Fabulous welcoming staff. Our room was comfortable and clean. It had all the usual, tea & coffee making facilities plus a hairdryer. Inclusive breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable, all staff made extremely friendly and approachable. Would definately stay here again..thank u for a fabulous stay �

The room was a little dated but the good price reflects that, the staff are brilliant and the food and drink spot on, will be staying there again in June, September and December

Lovely hotel, barman Adam Noble, friendly, efficient, and should manager as he was the only one there, doing the bar work, checking people into the hotel and taking food orders, and clearing as he went. Nice food, cooked by Sam. but shame as was looking forward to a steak, but they didn't have any. But the gravy that came in the gravy boat was delicious. Had peas, don't know what happens to the glazed veg. But all in all tash food. Will defo go again.,

Just read some of the other reviews. There are some mean spirited folk around. I paid buttons for bed and breakfast. I have stayed in better but paid a shed load more for the privilege. The room and bed were adequate, the shower was hot and, unusually for me, I could not finish the splendid breakfast.

This hotel is very dated and dirty! Room was appalling and what we was charged for 2 night stay without breakfast included was disgusting!! Although staff friendly and the breakfast you pay for was nice We won't be going back any time soon!! If you like wardrobe doors missing off the wardrobe blackened net curtains with holes in them and mould on walls and wallpaper hanging off walls! Oh and used toilet roll on bathroom floor behind toilet that has been mentioned before in May to be removed and was still there in June! And like a dog barking in one of the residents rooms all the time go for it but we won't be going again and it was booked for a 50th surprise (rooms look lovely online) don't be fooled.. If you fancy go for it but please don't waste your money!!!

awful place terrible service waited over 10 mins to be served while barmaid rabbitted on her mobile then she served what i take to be a local before me

Really nice people that run it but the place needs a good makeover its stinks of BAM !!! And shit the room we had everything fell into the middle of the room felt like I was pissed beds horrible carpet discussing carpet in the bathroom is a big no no and to be honest it needs a bulldozer to it don’t like to say all this because the host are really nice but I’d never go back sorry 😐
