Family ran Inn don't be put off by decor as the food and the service more than make up for it excellent recommend try the Sunday lunch
Only stopped here for a quick coffee while waiting for train so can't comment on the rooms or food but the member of staff who served us a coffee was friendly and helpful and it was a better than expected coffee !
Great food, very friendly and helpfull staff. Tremendous value for money. Lack of a lock on the toilet door is the only let down of a lovely eating ecperience.
The staff here were really lovely and the rooms were comfortable. My low rating, however, is due to the noisyness at night. The music from the bar can be heard in the rooms and it doesn't play until super late, but we were looking for an early night and it was therefore very frustrating. The doors and walls are also very thin so you can hear people walking about/slamming their doors.

Went here for 2 nights, had a nice clean room and bath. Very friendly staff and good food both breakfast and dinner. Well worth the money. Had great sleep and it is near to every thing as an easy walk. I would go back!
Closet pub I was near too. Did everything I expected, no complaints from me.
