This amazing man, Mark Harris, is currently on his mission to walk from Lands End to John O’ Groats to raise money for two amazing charities close to a lot of our hearts CANCER RESEARCH UK and MACMILLAN. This is a 1200 mile journey and he is completing it in 12 weeks. He is just over half way now.
Mark will be at the steakhouse tonight at 5pm for an hour or so, we are gonna feed him up on one of our big steaks to set him up for his continuation tomorrow.
... Please if anyone could donate to these amazing charities could you pop down tonight and give any donation big or small and we will give you a free pint on the house as a thank you.

We were out for a birthday meal so a large party found all staff very friendly and accommodating �!. Food was excellent will definitely be back to see Gav, Meghan and the team.�����

Visited last night, both my husband and I had the 10oz fillet surf & turf. It was absolutely delicious! Lovely friendly staff too.

Thoroughly enjoyed dining here; great service and delicious food. Will definitely be returning again in the future. Looking forward to seeing it progressing in the near future and the building being transformed.

The food here was amazingly tasty and incredibly good value, great staff who clearly care about what they do and how they do it.

Highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back .....!!!

The best steak I have ever had literally melted in my mouth the staff are amazing polite will recommend front of house owner Megan was very attentive polite and welcoming would recommend to anyone definitely be back

Myself & 4 friends had a fantastic meal here last night 13th January 2018 we all had steaks & they were the best ever���� we all live in appleby & will definitely be going again & certainly recommending it to all our friends 1st class thanx to all the staff ���

My partner had the surf and turf fillet steak and said it was the best steak he had ever had. I had the steak burger with cheese, fried onions with strips of steak which came with homemade chips and coleslaw. I am a foodie and it was the best burger etc that I have ever had. I would recommend you eat there it is fantastic

Loved Appleby Steakhouse! Food was amazingly good. Newly refurbed pub so look for Grapes Inn on riverside.

Lovely local lady running this and she is a good chef. Hope they continue to do well as food like this is hard to find!

I would like to say that apart from being the best steaks my wife and i have ever had. The customer service is top notch. Friendly warm atmosphere made to feel welcome as soon as u walk through door. If my wife and i could give them more stars we would. We will definatley be coming again when we r up here again. Been 3 times in 1 week so would recommend the steak house to everyone. Thankyou. I was here last night great place. I had Broccoli and stilton soup to start then 8oz fillet steak both were absolutely beautiful cooked just right. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Driving back from Scotland, looking for a place that can cater for Coeliac. Came across this place and have just had a fabulous meal. Steak cooked to perfection and the gammon was done just how our Coeliac daughter likes it. Thank you for the great service and great food. We now have a place to stop on our way home!

Can not recommend this place enough! I had one of the nicest steak I have ever had. Not only was the food absolutely beautiful the atmosphere was good and the service was fantastic! Congratulations Gav and Megan, what a fantastic place you have got.

Bit late but went 10th Feb. The food was brilliant and the size of the steaks was amazing, beautifully cooked. Give it a try. We are heading back this Saturday!

5*.... myself and 4 other team mates had taken part in the total warrior event yesterday, we were staying local over night and needed some food.

Wow what can I say, well the food was outstandingly good and the customer service was even better, now when you have both of those it's definitely worth a mention that these guys were very warm welcoming, I would recommend anyone in the area passing through looking for some mouth watering food to definitely try these guys.
