Well what can I say?
A year ago I was in Memphis for the 40th anniversary and although it was a FANTASTIC vacation and I loved being there for such a special anniversary.
TONIGHT here at my little ole pub here in Hertfordshire WHICH by the way IS the ONLY pub in the WORLD and probably UNIVERSE called THE STEAM COACH. Hosted , self indulgently obviously a celebration of the Elvis 68 Comeback.

My dear friends who always support me and New friends through the power of Facebook all came as well then to put the icing on the cake Martyn Lopes-dias and Sue Lopes-Dias came as well!!!

Wow...sat in the most beautiful gardens this evening (with lots of regulars) watching the sun go down Fantastic service, The most gorgeous food!! Pretty damn amazing

Went for Sunday lunch. The beef was excellent, as was the service
The rear garden is a little piece of heaven �
We went for my friends 50th Birthday celebrations. Fab evening and fantastic buffet laid on. Thanks to Sylvia and the team as always xx
The staff are fantastic. The beer is excellent. The food is great.
We'll drop in again on our next visit to Hemel 👍
The head in chef in this place makes the place! He popped out asked us if went liked our meal had a quick chat with us best roast potatoes were the best I've had from eating a Sunday Roast! You won't get a better meal locally!
So, we'd all heard very good things about it, so we picked The Steam Coach in Boxmoor for our staff Xmas Party.. in January! I know..I hear you.... but we work in retail..that's how it goes! (Plus...our shop Manager's a bit mad, bless her!)
We're so glad we chose here! Sylvia and her Team did us proud! The Function Room was perfect, tables beautifully presented and laid out complete with Crackers, Santa Hats and decorations... she really went to town... in January...wonderful!
The food...well...was just amazing! Huge plates.. piled high with delicious Traditional Xmas fare... so much that many of us were defeated!
Table service was excellent and no-one was left waiting too long!
Here's some Quotes from our party: "That was the best Salmon fillet I've ever had", "The Turkey was so tender and moist", "Wonderful Steak and Ale pie!" And the desserts were a perfect compliment to the meal also!
So all in all, we would all highly recommend The Steam Coach in Boxmoor as a great place to eat for delicious food, great value and service!

Very courteous and helpful staff and a landlord with a character!
We always stop by when in a radius of 100 miles!!!
I've not been in here for a while, but the food is always good. The Stella is even better!

Enjoyed a lovely scampi chips and peas last night washed down with a bottle of wine ! Really tasty and a great portion! Friendly staff and had a nice table to chat away to my friend with the music being at a perfect volume! Nice atmosphere x glad it's one of my locals x❤️🎉🍸
