We go every time we visit Bridlington enjoy a good drink with the hubby and we had fish, chips and peas, bread & butter and even came with salad totally beautiful thank you

User

The pint and a curry deal priced at £10.30 was well worth the money you had a choice of bitter or lager. Three curries Thai, chicken korma or chicken tikka with either chips or rice and two naan breads. The curry was delicious. Well worth trying you won’t be disappointed.

User

My 2nd home and a pub iv represented in football and with my pool team The Stirling Dragons fantastic food award wining beers and an atmosphere that makes you come back time after time love the place :-)

User

Love this pub! Great views over the harbour and south bay, good decently priced beers and ciders and great bands to listen and dance to!

User

I have been going in the Stirling for 30 years (previously Ship Ahoy) and it is my second home and favourite pub in Brildington and also far afield. Great staff, excellent beers and a cracking atmosphere!

User

I found the Ship Ahoy a week after I moved to Bridlington in 1990. It changed it's name back to the Stirling Castle in 1999 after a refurb and is still my one and only local 27 years later. Great venue for live sport, live bands every Friday night (and the odd Saturday), good food, pool and darts and all with a cracking view out over the harbour. Doesn't get any better!

User

I basically grew up in this pub and have to say theres no where else in brid that can give u the atmosphere and pizzas like stirling its got the best landlord in town and has also got the music down to a tee for the people that go in there 2 perfect pool tables and dart boards kids welcome what more can u ask for!! Oo ye a view!! It has that aswell best view in brid give it a go u cant knock it till you try it thanks tim for the decent beer and decent music x

Good ale. Efficient, friendly staff & an excellent, trouble free atmosphere after the England game. Excellent seaside boozer.

User

Food was of good quality ..plenty on the plate..good and prompt service and a huge potential of tea ..well worth the visit

User

Food quality staff quality the only thing that lets it down is the patio at the back over looking the harbour it needs sweeping as i donnt think it been done since last year???glass all over and billions of tab ends...should be done once a week.....at least????

User

Celebrating 40yrs attendance this year ! Too many great memories to list,Fantastic live music, great food, excellent staff,a great example of a true Bridlington and Yorkshire welcome...stunning views.

User

Been going to Stirling castle for 35 years and it's still the best pub in bridlington. Excellent food and drinks and bar staff are amazing to get on with keep up the good work tim. Helen and staff!!

User

Been going in since 2001 best fish and chips in town except price for them has sky rocketed but still worth it! best for football 3 screens. And best for views and seating over harbour top. Can see biggest crane on coast dropping boats in from here great food great drinks and pool is fair and tables are good always will be the best in Bridlington also great bands on here and I even once lost my items I had in my pocket in the seat and next time I went in the pub owner handed it to me. On so many levels this is a great pub. Cannot recommend high enough

User

Absolutely worth the day out discovering the history behind the Stirling Castle. Amazing, we loved it. Very good value for money. Beautiful grounds and gardens. Glorious tapestry throughout.

User

A fantastic pub and live music venue run by great staff also doing very good food, also has a good view of the harbour ans south beach.

User

We went in for a pint and a game of pool. We had a good evening, will definitely be going back, but please do something about the floor, as it was very sticky and made me think I had something on my shoes.

User

Decent beer.. food ok.. but paninis could do to be hot in the middle not just marked on top... biggest criticism tho is as we walked into to pub... all staff were stood in doorway smoking and we had to walk through the smelly cloud... not good

User

We visited this pub on a weekend break in Bridlington. The beer was fine and the pizza that we ordered was very good. We sat upstairs by the door to the balcony. Smokers were coming in and out and the area was not just littered with fag ends but inches deep in them. The stairs up to the balcony area were filthy and the whole place could do with a really deep clean. The ladies toilets were not exactly pleasant either. Had I had a good look around before I ordered food I may have thought twice about it!
