The Stitch Workshop Description
Welcome to the Stitch Workshop. My name is Debbie and have over 20 years sewing experience. Graduating in 1985 from Kingston polytechnic with a BA (hons) in Textiles and Fashion Design and worked in the trade for a number of years as a pattern cutter / designer in the west end of London.
Since then I have been a full time mother to four girls and have always loved the craft of sewing and would now love to pass on my skills, experience and passion to young and old alike. To those with no experience and to those of you just wanting to improve your skills and be creative!
I regularly attend courses myself to keep up will new ideas and techniques. Things have changed a little but the basic skills of good dressmaking will help you create a professional finish to anything you make.
