I know we are not quite through the summer YET, but I can announce that our Christmas menus are now available to be picked up or will be available on our website in the next few hours. Christmas Day is very nearly full so i suggest booking now if you wish to join us for an afternoon of fine food and a great atmosphere.

We went to the Stocks for Christmas Day lunch and it was lovely. The food was excellent and the service was very good as well. I cannot recommend it enough if you want good food in a lovely country setting. We have eaten there several times and never been disappointed. It was so good we will go back for next Christmas Day 2017. Drew and his staff make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The best pub around for miles.

We had a superb meal with the family, staff were polite and friendly. Food was delicious and piping hot.....and the puds! that's another story so hard to choose which one! Lemon meringue gets a thumbs up.

Visited for lunch on Mother’s Day and was so impressed by how quick the service was when the place was so packed! No part of the (as usual) perfect food was compromised by how busy it was and every member of staff had a smile � really lovely!! Thank you.

Took the dog and sat in the bar and had a wonderful lunch. Have the two courses for £12 lunch and both the starters and the main courses were excellent. They were advertised as smaller appetite meals for the deal....but came as a full meal!!



the staff were wonderful and friendly and brought a bowl of water out for the dog and gave him dog biscuits as well.

Took my wife and little boy for lunch on Mother's Day, what a great pub, the food was superb and the staff really friendly. Our son loved the bubble gum ice cream.

Totally recommend you go here, we will be going back for sure to try some more delights off the fantastic menu 👍

Lovely lunch at The Stocks, the food was gorgeous and generous portions. The king prawn curry and stocks burger were very tasty! Would highly recommend and staff very friendly.

Lovely friendly pub. Food was great being a coeliac it can be had to eat out but here was so easy. Had a good menu for myself and the others in the group. Food came quick and hot.

Just moved back to Poole from southbourne area and Sunday we went back to the stocks inn after a five year gap and it was just as good as remembered and now it's going to be our regular lunch place to go ...staff so friendly and food reasonable priced with good size portions �

Had an amazing Christmas meal here, even though there were 14 of us all meals came out effortlessly together & was one of the best tasting Christmas meals I’ve ever had. Staff were great too, very well run pub. Big thanks to Drex, Sally & all the staff.

Had a wonderful meal - my mum had the cottage pie and I elected to have the steak and ale pie. The food is piping hot, very reasonable portions and at sensible and fair prices. If you are looking for honest good home cooked food you need look no further. To read some of the negative reviews stating that staff are rude is ridiculous- the service was first rate and to see happy smiling waiting staff is a joy. Very much worth a visit.

Had a lovely lunch here today! Kids eat free From 2-5pm, Mon to Sat, so it was amazing value for me and my husband with 3 children. We had a main and our 3 kids had a meal and a pudding, and we only paid for one of their meals, which was good value in itself.



I had the vegetarian stir fry, my husband had the Cajun chicken burger and the children had macaroni cheese, chicken nuggets and a hot dog. All lovely quality food and good portions.

Will be back very soon!

From the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed. The atmosphere was lovely. Service was excellent, everyone was so friendly. Loved the menu. Great for vegetarians ( which my mum is ). The food was piping hot and tasted amazing. Will definitely be visiting again and tell everyone what a great pub go to.

Fantastic meal, very friendly staff! Great place to take children. Will definitely be going back � for more lemon meringue pie !!

Lovely old pub, staff very friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to wait long for our roast dinners and the place was very busy! We enjoyed the food but my only complaint is regarding the roast potatoes and boiled potato, they were incredibly hard and tasteless. Shame because the rest of the meal was great!

Great meals and attentive staff only problem is eating outside is the bees that can be quite annoying but book before you go as it get booked up
