For our final Quiz of the year it will be themed all things Christmas!!
A Festive Carvery will be served on arrival to fuel your brains, along with Christmas Crackers and Music to create festive cheer!
The Quiz will then begin at 8pm for some friendly rivalry to win the Jar of Cash! Make sure you squat up on your General knowledge beforehand so you’re not awarded the wooden spoon!
... Mince Pies will be served after the quiz and you will be welcomed to stay and mingle with the other teams (and maybe even have a dance) as the music is turned up to either celebrate or commiserate!

What a jewel. After being let down by a previous hotel my wife and I checked in with trepidation as we didn't know what to expect.

The staff at the reception desk were wonderful and made us feel welcome. Even showing us to our room and apologising for the fact that we had to use the back stairs as there was redecoration of the the main stairwell.

The room was massive and we'll presented but like most hotel rooms if you look hard enough you can always find fault.

Dinner was what you would expect from any London restaurant. The menu is limited but done extremely well. I had safron risotto my wife had the hake. The risotto was sticky (not wet) and seasoned very well. The hake was crispy skinned but light and fluffy to the touch.

At night there was no road noise and we both had a very nice sleep.

Breakfast was traditional English eggs how you like them and a light continental.

Check out was quick and easy.

If I'm in the area again I will definitely be staying.

We were at the hero awards and the food was great and the staff it's a great place .can't thank them enough for a great evening

We had our wedding here July 2016 it all went to plan and the stones hotel were amazing throughout.the food was amazing and our guests complimented it.would highly recommend.we had our pics out the back on the green with a great scenery.The hall was set out how we wanted with the tables etc and didn't have to move everything around for the evening.the drapes and choice of colour scheme is really pretty and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning the staff are really helpful and friendly and cannot thank the wedding organiser they have she's fantastic

Thank you Stones Hotel, after battling my way on foot to work only to find it closed you kindly opened the kitchen to make me any amazing breakfast, thank you.

Stayed one night only, the room was impeccable, had a great sleep. All the staff were wonderful and the black pudding they serve at breakfast was out of this world.

Totally recommend it.

Stayed here for my sons 21st birthday prezzie a skydive! Hotel was fantastic, modern and absolutely spotless. The food was 1st class amazing! And the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definately be back for my dive soon. Thanks to Keith who made us laugh and Katie who kept us watered at the bar! Well done guys, look forward to seeing you again.

Organised a business event for 70 delegates.....everything was in place as arranged; coffee on arrival, water in the room, Express Lunch Menu ordered and served in the restaurant at the agreed time, paid on departure.

Overall, a very convenient location for business events, good facilities and room sizes to cater for varying numbers and plenty of free parking!

Would definitely recommend.....Thanks to Natasha and the staff for their excellent customer service 👏

Just had a wonderful afternoon tea with my mum for her birthday. The staff were so helpful the food was fantastic. Celebrated my sisters wedding at the weekend here and could not fault it. Staff were attentive and polite and nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were decorated beautifully and the transition from the wedding breakfast to the evening reception was quick and efficient. If the hotel would of been here 5 years ago I would have loved to of had my wedding here. Top marks.

We were upgraded to an executive room as one was available without having to ask.



No complaints about the food either.



We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Booked Mother’s Day Lunch Menu, varied menu and reasonably priced. The meals were well presented, and well cooked and plenty on the plates. Lovely clean surroundings, but with very long tables a little difficult to converse with all members of our party. All in all a very nice atmosphere and good day out and would recommend.

Again this hotel surpassed our many meals and special occasions spent here wonderful Mother’s Day meal children are welcomed food and service were superb Our favourite restaurant by far thank you the stones hotel from Holly and Ben Spragg and boys jan and bill spreadbury

Attended an event at the hotel rather than staying the night. Staff were lovely. Polite, helpful etc. The solstice suite was great, toilets clean and well stocked. My only real complaint is that you need to remortgage to afford the bar prices!! £14.95 for a jug of cocktail that's got more ice in it than the Antarctic. £3.95 for a shot of Jaegermeister and £22 for a bottle of prosecco..... extortionate comes to mind!!

This has to be the worst food I have ever had. The vegetables were still frozen, turkey was dry, the roast potatoes nearly broken my teeth. Followed by cheap ice cream that has bits of ice in it and some weird looking cheesecake that my 9 year old could have done better. Gross!!



The chef was either high or lied on his CV.



Complained to the manager along with other guests.. his response.. well I don’t really know what to say. Was the service ok?? ....

staff were spilling hot food onto military mess dress. Totally embarrassing. If you want to feed wedding guests, you’re better off going to McDonald’s.



I’m not sure if they were just unable to cater for over 180 people or just had an off day, but I won’t be wasting my time or money finding out.
