One of the best Sunday Lunches I've ever sampled

On our way home from Liverpool Airport we decided to pop in for a bite to eat.

We were immediately shown to a table where we ordered from a specials menu of either 2 or 3 courses.

I had mushrooms to start, my husband prawn cocktail. We both then had rump steak with onion rings and chips.

The whole meal was delicious and totally worth the price.

Great vegan option for those who follow a meat and dairy free lifestyle. Charming log fire in the winter and a lovely garden for the summer

Fabulous food as always and great service too as always.

We went to the Stretton Fox for a Fathers Day meal and to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be great as I knew it would be very busy. I was very pleasantly surprised, we had a slight wait for our table but apart from that everything else was great. The food was good and well cooked and our waitress, Katy, who was rushed off her feet, was extremely pleasant and friendly, always smiling and couldn’t do enough for us. She seemed to be thoroughly enjoying her job and I think she is a credit to the pub.

The place has gone downhill ! Service was awfull, my starter came out after everybody else's as it had been missed off the order, tried to give me a beef roast rather than the turkey that id ordered! The greens tasted of nothing but salt, as for the chocolate brownie it was soggy! The thing that shocked me themost was the state of the disabled/baby changing facilities absolutly disgusting ..... such a shame !!! I couldn't even complain to the manger as there was already a lady giving him what for as we were leaving, we won't be returning in a hurry
