The food is absolutely amazing! If you are staying the area or just passing through stop for lunch or dinner. The staff are so friendly!

A pretty pub in the middle of a tiny village. There is a reasonable selection of local real ales and they serve quality food, with a decent choice for vegetarians. It gets busy so book early.

Atmosphere abysmal, as visitors to the area it's always a pleasure for all conversations to cease as you enter a pub and be stared at by the customers and staff. The beer was mixed and staff were rude to the point of hostile.

Excellent food and service for a hungry tired walker. Monday evening seems to be curry night and mine was good.
The inn has WiFi and a few good beers.
Remember, Keswick is not the furthest extent of the Lakes. Bassenthwaite is delightful.

An amazing place to eat, the staff are very friendly. Outdoor seating is available. Dogs are welcome. Great food variation. I recommend making a reservation for dinner.
