The most delicious Sunday lunch I've had in years and I eat out A LOT!!! �

This was a last minute booking for a party of 14 people; we were made to feel so welcome, the service was super efficient, nothing was too much trouble! The food was simply exceptional, including generous portions of succulent meats, super tasty roasties & devine creamy mash potato (and the extra Yorkshire puds went down a treat � thank you!!!) Prices are so reasonable, worth every single penny.

We will definitely be making a special trip from Leeds to the Sutton Arms to enjoy another scrummy Sunday Lunch very soon!!! Thanks guys x

We arrived on a wednesday evening lovely girl greeted us angd couldnt of been more helpful our meal was excellent prawn and crab cocktail followed by a parmesan . hubbie had steak all fresh veg and lovely chips .. we have been going here for over 10yrs love the refurb as well

Was there last night stayed over what a lovely place staff so friendly can not do enough for you the food was top dollar would recommend this to anyone looking for something special

There was 7 of us most had steaks they were cooked perfect az allways 1 had lamb and that melted in Yor mouth,the one had chicken and they said that was gorgeous the staff are very friendly and helpful,definity recommend it and we are looking forward 2 going again

OMG!!!! What an amazing little find. Food is unreal � staff are lovely, atmosphere is great. Had the best fish cakes EVER!!! Will definitely be visiting again xx

My favourite place to go for a meal with the other half the food is always top notch their chef is amazing don’t get anything like it anywhere else!! Addicted to their food, top quality never had a bad meal from here, paul loves the steak pie! X

Must be the fifth or sixth time I have been here now and still can not fault it, the food is beautiful and always cooked to how you like it, the staff are brilliant and couldn't do more for you. Can't ask for more really, just lovely

I've been here a few times and visited again Friday night, we had fillet steak and a rib eye steak, both were exceptionally cooked, plenty of seasonal veg, salad and chips

Previously the service has been great however on Friday we found ourselves waiting, first on entering, then for menus, we had to ask for the sauces for our steaks, the staff were extremely busy, not enough staff initially for the parties wanting to dine, the busy head waitress was lovely however you could see the younger staff were busy, no smiles when serving although pleasant, think this isn't the norm so will be visiting again

Had the most amazing night stay over last night, the room was gorgeous and clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly, food was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, loved it so much booked the holiday cottage for in between Xmas and new year, can’t wait to go back 😁

Fantastic night last night for my Daughters graduation. There were 12 in our party and nothing was too much trouble and the staff were fantastically attentive making us feel very special. There was a very welcoming fire in the bar area with lots of gins to choose from. The food was divine as usual steaks cooked to perfection and the 32 oz porterhouse filled the plate, the seafood exceptionally fresh and tasty as usual and extra chips salad you name it as we wanted. Thankyou so much for making our night extra special can't recommend you enough xx

Extremely warm welcome and lovely surroundings, with such friendly staff was just the beginning of a great evening, we ate 2 courses the starter was stunning and the main course was outstanding, myself and my wife both had there rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection ....superb !!, no room for a 3rd course, and an added bonus for me was the exotic range of gin.

Very, very, reasonable prices, my only complaint is I live 200 miles away .........

Best place for food in the area! The chicken Parmo is my favourite and I love Patmos ! The steaks and all other food is gorgeous ! Try the desert sampler great value! Lovely staff! Definitely recommended !

A really cosy pub/bar area and then a lovely restaurant. Decor and seating really nice and comfortable, modern but still traditional feeling. Food was absolutely delicious, we each had the homemade steak pie and it was the best I've ever had! Massive portion though so couldn't manage it all but that's no bad thing! Only slight comment would be that the night we went, the menu was full of dishes with prawns/crab, which I'm allergic to, so there wasn't a lot of choice for me personally, but that in no way would stop me going back as I know they change the menu regularly, and lets face it, a steak pie is always a winner!!

The lady who was serving us (who was lovely) also said that if we were to phone with a special menu request, they would be happy to accommodate - can't say fairer than that!



The bill came and I almost thought they had missed our drinks off (they hadn't) it was so reasonable! Especially for the high quality we had.



Overall a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back again very soon, and I would highly recommend it to others �

First time to the Sutton Arms tonight. Been on our list to get there for a while now. And we weren't dissappointed. The service was great. The staff friendly and polite. A lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent. Best venison and fillet beef we've had and the price was reasonable too. Only slight negatives, if any, we had abit of a wait between courses, but we weren't in a rush so not an issue, and the choice of puddings wasn't that great. Something lemony would have finished the meal off perfectly. But all in all we were very happy and we will definitely be back. Maybe for the highly recommended Sunday lunch next time. :)
