While on a Downton Abbey tour, our acappella chorus stopped at the Swan Inn for lunch. Our tour guide took our order on the bus and called in the requests in advance. Smart move! Our food was ready for us and all orders were correct. Everything was delicious with lovely presentation. We would highly recommend stopping by for lunch or just a pint at the bar.
What a lovely pub, we booked Lunch great Sunday roast and lovely helpful staff, our first visit but can't wait to go back.
We had a really lovely relaxing meal at this beautiful cosy pub, lovely atmosphere and the staff are amazing.totally recommend a visit to this gem.
The staff are exceptional, very friendly, and always happy to advise. Consistently the food is delish with the ever changing menu but there are always the favorites such as their Bubble and Squeak!! An absolute MUST try as a starter! I like having two starters instead of one main because I like to try everything and the portions are just right!!
My absolute favourite place after a long walk with the dogs.
Amazing food great staff.
You get what what you pay for.
Lovely village, lovely pub, excellent food and friendly staff. I came with two friends for lunch on 12 April 2016. I have been coming to Denham and The Swan for many years. I first knew of it when I was only 9 years old when I would come to visit my Uncle, Ted Beard, who lived in the village. I am 65 years of age now and I still love the place!!
Lovely pub with the best roast dinner ever, good wine and lovely helpful staff. My mum is in a wheel chair and they cannot do enough to ensure we are made welcome and comfortable and they actually talk to my mum, pass her a menu, ask her what she would like to eat and drink, rather than directing the questions at me!
Lovely food, great surroundings, top notch service. What more could you ask for. This place is definetly one to try
Love it! A beautiful local village gem where Ricky, Ella, Steph & Sam always great you with smile. Super pleased to see Vegan dishes on the menu for me and my food loving friends to enjoy.
Had our 'Company Xmas Lunch' there, though there were only two of us. We didn't have long to wait for our courses and they were excellent, as was the service. I went there for my 50th and the steak was better than excellent.
Food was great and of course lovely company my wife. ’┐Į
Amazing food...enjoyed my starter, main and dessert. Pricy dishes but worth every penny!!!
This was our first visit to The Swan and it was lovely. Staff were helpful and food was presented well. Will be going back.
Once again a lovely Roast my husband had fish and chips and he said it was really good we have never had a bad meal always superb
Good eating experience - food and presentation very good. Staff very friendly and obliging. The only thing that slightly detracted from the experience was the very noisy rock band playing at the pub up the road, over which The Swann has no control. Must congratulate them, also, for very good roast patatoes, which a lot of restaurants seem to find it difficult to get right - they were crispy and fluffy inside, which is what they are supposed to be!
A lovely old pub. I'd never been before we met up with some friends here on Sunday afternoon.
Food was very nice, slightly dearer than your standard pub fayre. I had an item from the small plates, the bacon roly poly, and whilst I enjoyed it I felt the portion size was a little small for almost ┬Ż8.
Tried the breakfast last Saturday and whilst we thought it was priced on the high side, after all it's still bacon and eggs etc, we wanted to give it a go as you never know.
Sorry to say we were disappointed..1 tiny bit of bacon, half a tomato and 1 slice of toast really let down the overall offering. You would expect at least 2 slices of toast with any cooked breakfast and at ┬Ż12.25 you think they could have stretched to it! Should have gone for the bubble and squeak or pancakes that looked delicious!
My boyfriend took for my bday on 1st. Got ignored by 2 waiters who cleaned tables whilst we waited for menu. It was not busy at all. Got menus after 10 minutes. Food was exceptionally good and wine list varied. Think colour of our skin contributed to the welcome as we were only black people there
A bit pricy, food average, children's burgers came out burnt so was the burger bun. Service good. Been 3 times probably won't go back again.
