We would just like to say a massive thank you to all those that came and supported our beer and music festival. The atmosphere over the bank holiday weekend was amazing, we was very surprised as the weather was not on our side for some of it. A big thanks also to the bands that did an fantastic job and the staff that helped it all run smoothly. We also had support from Justin Hawkins from the Darkness & Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul. We have already starting organising for ...August bank holiday weekend 2019. We hope you can all join us again. Here are some pics from the weekend

What a night. Walkway smashed it and we had some celebrities here joining the fun. Justin Hawkins and Tim Krull. There rendition of I believe in a thing called love and freebird were absolutely amazing. And they are already booked for next year. Yay

Last day of the festival today. The cruisers are on stage this afternoon the barby is cooking and THE SUNSHINE IS HERE (we’ll sort of) So come and chill out with a pint and burger and a wasp

this was the most welcoming, clean, respectable hotel i have stayed at for many years, staff were exellent, rooms absolutely beautiful, spacious warm modern an so comfortable, great place easy to find, exellent value superb lunch, breakfast, my granchildren were made welcome an looked after so well by all concerned,a huge thanks to you all, ralph jackie dean an laura edwards, we will certainly be returning.....

Would really recommend, beautiful place and not far from Sea front. Rooms were immaculate and cleaned every day with fresh towels and tea/water refilled, beds were very comfortable too. Staff were very friendly and happy to help, made to feel welcome upon arrival and every morning. The food was delicious at breakfast had a good selection. Overall a lovely place that i would go back to. Thank you for making it a pleasant stay.

We made a very quick decision to visit The Swan Motel and we're very pleasantly surprised. The meal took a bit of time but thats standard with us because we like our meat very well done. I did tell the owner, (I think) that it was the best meal I had, and my husband throughly enjoyed his lunch too. The grounds are beautiful. From Keith & Ruth Everett.

We held our wedding reception here a year ago and were so pleased by the amazing service and food. We chose The Swan as we wanted a relaxed atmosphere, the staff didn't disappoint and couldn't do enough for us. We've been back a few times since, and yesterday, returned to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. The food was just as amazing and with such lovely friendly staff we'll be returning again soon. Thank you Jon and Lisa it's always a pleasure to see you both.

Very helpfull and accommodating as I arrived on a touring bicycle and I needed a safe storage. The evening meal was served with large portions, thank you for the porridge and fruit it was most welcome.

Vary lovely place and friendly people. Stayed here twice already and lovely food. %100 recommend staying here

This place is very welcoming, we were made to feel at home. We were booked into an event close by. When we returned at about 23.30, even though there had been a function at The Swan, we were offered food and the bar was open. The room was clean fresh and freshly decorated, value for money (breakfast included) was amazing. I will definitely book here again.

The swan is a very friendly run motel the staff make you so welcome you never want to leave and the food was outstanding there is not much more I can say other than I hope I can stay there again a home from home thank you

The room was lovely-decor, comfy beds, fluffy towels and bed linen nice and fresh. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go back.. Room a little chilly to start but quickly remedied with an extra heater when informed. Excellent service. Don't normally do reviews but felt this place really deserved one. The breakfast was delicious although would be nice to see black pudding on the full English.

Six of us travelled from.near ipswich to.try the carvery on Sunday and it was amazing ghe staff really helpful the chef accommodating us with a salad for one of our party it looked so tasty the selection on the carvery for veg and meat was great all so tasty and the gravy didn't disappoint dessert was great also and portions generous the at had a really relaxed feel we arrived at 4 stayed till after 8 to listen to the music we all.loved it and will be coming back.

My Wife and I stopped off here today for a Sunday Carvery, we love a Carvery & have been to many different places , up until today our favourite was The Ferry Inn Horning but The Gillingham Swan has just gone to the top in our eyes ( and belly) everything was cooked to perfection & the homemade yorkies topped it off, will definitely be returning but next time we'll stay over on a Sat night as we also love live music ��.

Lovely welcome, very comfy well decorated room,the staff were great we were late to order food but the chef agreed we could bar food, scrummy jacket potato with chilli an a fresh Waldorf salad ... excellent value overnight stay

Lovely meal here today, my husband and I had the steak & ale pie which was generously portioned with ample veg and new potatoes. Great dessert too. Highly recommended.

Just got home. Stopped here for a couple of nights as a base to discover some of suffolks coast line and so glad we stumbled across this place.

Friendly welcome from the owners and the staff. Can't fault the food, had the breakfast and booked an evening meal on our last night, both top notch. Bar has a large selection of drinks. Rooms ideal, very clean and tidy and a nice big comfy bed. Would highly recommend.

Excellent food with a good choice of menu. Friendly, helpful staff and relaxed setting. Have visited here a number of times over the past 3 years, it just gets better & better. Well done great service!

Can most definitely recommend The Swan Motel. We had a wake for my father-in-law and all the staff were great. Lynn was extremely helpful and kind. We couldn't have asked for it to go any better. The food was great too. Lots of home made options that were yummy.

Another delicious lunch today! Husband enjoyed a full Sunday roast while I 'A veggie', enjoyed the great selection of veg and yorkie.

Amazing!!! The owners and their staff are welcoming and friendly...the rooms are immaculate and spacious and the beds are so comfortable. The food was gorgeous... and nothing was too much trouble ..special meals prepared for friends with allergies and for our vegan daughter. We could not fault a single thing during our stay.

Lovely motel with very very comfortable bed - wonderful staff who made us feel very welcome - as for the food........amazing but portions huge & rather defeated me!! Great breakfast with scrambled eggs done just as I like them �. Very clean. Nice wine list too!!! Thank you to the staff of The Swan!
