From Monday, 17 June Swindon Borough Council's Highways team will begin the final phase of the Mannington Roundabout improvements. The last stage of the project will reduce traffic on the roundabout by allowing those travelling from the retail park towards the motorway to exit via Great Western Way, rather than Wootton Bassett Road. The major transformation of Wellington Street connecting the railway station to the town centre is almost complete and from lunchtime on Monday (10 June) will be open to traffic, cyclists and pedestrians.
