The first of a new set of waistcoats finished yesterday.
Made from English wool tweed, with matching covered buttons and red tonic paisley lining.

A company in the UK that makes caps has sent me lengths of the same tweed to making matching waistcoats. With the off-cuts I make covered buttons and with the off-cuts of the off-cuts, which are minimal, I compost because they are made of natural fibres/wool. Zero waste, good for the evironment. Also the buttons are non-plastic.
