Stopped for a light snack lunch during walking a leg of the Angles Way Walk. A little pricier than average but then it had a little more than average finesse.

I would describe it as “quaint”. Sandwiches were well presented and the establishment has a nice ambience.

I never normally review but was so disappointed especially with such good reviews on the website I felt i had to. Nice ambience, fine China etc but the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. I had a toasted tea cake which when it arrived appeared anemic in colour with three sultanas in the entire teacake. Then a piece of coffee and walnut cake which wasn't home made, in fact the texture and taste was of a basic, cheap supermarket cake which at £2.75 a slice probably covered the cost of the entire cake. Altogether it was extremely disappointing.

Fantastic service and food. Very friendly will definitely go back again soon.

Tally Ho tearooms offer tea in fine China crockery with excellent service and waiting staff dressed in Victorian style clothing. While my wife and l have never had the sandwich option, which you can book for larger parties, we have both very much enjoyed the cream teas. Would happily recommend.

Lovely afternoon tea with our granny! Very tasty sandwiches, lovely moist tasty cake, lots of tea, and all of it in an amazing setting, and with very attentive and friendly service. Went straight on the shortlist for our granny's 92nd do.

Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic building, fantastic china, highly recommend!

This is how a Tearoom should be! Respectable, traditional and offering quality food with great welcoming service. Everything was perfect from the China teacups, menu selection and ambient music to the home made cakes, sandwiches and traditionally dressed staff. So many so called tearooms are just not following those rules.
