Yesterday was good and I suspect it depends, as it does with most places, entirely on the staff who are on duty.



Standards do appear to be variable but yesterday was good.



Security staff were friendly and, remember, they are only there for everyone’s safety.



Drinks are a little on the dear side, but then it is on the river, right in the centre of London.



In contrast, we all thought the food was reasonably priced, freshly cooked and very tasty.

We joined this weekend to comedy club. Great entertainment. I didn't laugh like that from years. I will definitely come back. Great atmosphere and amazing guys who worked there!

Smashing location, friendly helpful staff, and I think that you would it difficult to find such a decent pint in this area. And the fish & chips? Excellent! Thank you, we will see you again. Cheers P&A

Not only the venue but the people, weather (winter could be chilli), environment and surrounding....enjoy evening ...floating on the Thames River drinking a pint leaning on the world iconic feature, London Eye.......loved it

I’m in London twice a month and always call and have a pint on deck and watch the river boats. Marvellous position to sit, drink, eat and take in the sights. Called yesterday and was greeted by 2 extremely polite security men. On the way off I noticed one of the men helping a lady with her pushchair on the steps even though she had her husband with her. I did mention how nice it was to see to the other man. Good helpful polite lads doing their best. Well worth a visit.

Great spot to meet up with friends after a long day of touring the city! We just had drinks but the food looked great!

Been here a few times now. Find it hard to believe that 1 reviewer on here complains the boat has steps which make it bad for wheelchair access. It’s a BOAT - Of course it will have steps! Another reviewer also complains that the boat moves about on the water.... Unbelievable. It’s a great venue, well run with good food to eat. I djed the company party when Stonegate first bought it (when it came back from hull from its refit) and was a nice place to work too. Happy, friendly & welcoming security on arrival is a bonus too.

We love tattershall castle BUT I came with my husband and two little boys. And my little ones were told they were not allowed on the boat wearing their England shirts ! It’s England !!! It’s the middle of the World Cup. My boys love their New England kits and were refused entry wearing them. When I complains I was told they could come on if they turned them inside out ! Leaving my little boys upset. Embarrassed and feeling like they had done something wrong. What was the problem and what harm was being done. Feeling very very disappointed with what was one of our all time fav places.

Security staff were great guys. Bar staff were to interested in chatting with each other and larking around.

Was over charged on drinks

Steak was not cooked correctly both plates of food were on the cold side

I was not very impressed @ all with the bar staff (in fact it was the same girl that served each of us) charging my friends & I different prices for exactly the same drink!! I think she’s got a nice little scam going on there!

The meal wasn’t very impressive either as the chicken was very tough! But my main concern & I’m absolutely furious about being charged different prices for the same drink!!

I tried contacting you by telephone but with no answer & it wouldn’t even let me leave a message! So I went on your website to complain & it wouldn’t let me send the feedback! So that’s why I’ve come via Facebook!

The beer was good and got a seat considering it being Trooping of the Colour day, but afraid the Fish and Chips were not special considering the price we had to pay. It was TOO greasy and the tartare sauce was left to your imagination. Staff at bar were ok but at the fish and chip hatch were under a lot of pressure and struggled to cope.

I don’t think that this is a place that you would revisit. Firstly, they had no record of our booking. When they did sort us out, we waited an hour to be bought our starter and still we had to ask for our drinks...again. Dinner itself was less than average. It’s a real shame as the setting is perfect for a great night out. Fingers crossed that this is a one bit we’re not sure and won’t go back to test it.

So disappointed, the staff had no idea about customer service, they did not appear to have any training at all, with the exception of the cloak room attendant Alejandro who was lovely and very attentive, he is wasted at this venue.

Bar staff were busy having their own personal conversation. Very dismissive when asked a question.

For an event where food was to be served at 8.30pm why had most people not eaten by 11pm? And when the food arrived it was cold or luke warm at best. Still waiting for the dessert!

No answers or apologises from the staff.

A member of my party went to speak to the manager for an explanation he was very unhelpful and non responsive.

I would not recommend this venue to anyone.

The happiest on board were the well fed mice running around on the top deck..

Booked a table for five people

Upon arriving they couldn’t find find my booking and in the end plonked us onto a four seater. The waitress (who I pray was on her first day) struggled to take our orders.

Starters arrived and for some strange reason a side order for our main followed them. My goats cheese bruschetta which was simply toasted goats cheese, onion chutney and rocket! Mains arrived and waitress had forgot to tell the chef we ordered three burgers until they had ran out. So a friend had to wait for another dish while the rest of us started our mains. The side order that arrived with the starters reappeared and it was the same one that had clearly been left under a hot plate! The chips accompanying the other mains were dire too. When the bill arrived we mentioned these issues and were told they “don’t do discounts”. After talking to another member of staff they begrudgingly deducted the starters.

So in conclusion, lovely views on a marvellous steamer with service liken to faulty towers.

Went here on Monday well !! Staff Lack lustur . No tonic for Gin . Fair play before entering we were warned that only Fish & Chips available as a large party had been booked on downstairs . Orderd Fisj & Chips only to find no wooden forks left staff on this day shrugged shoulders . Asked one of the bar staff for 3 forks she did go down below 5 mins later said the Chef would bring them up . oh also a table was reserved for 14.30that afternoon . when I saw the content of the Aftrnoon Tea all I can say presentation SH1t

These people are rude and have no etiquette for waiting staff. People arrive at 7.30pm and get on boat at 7.45pm. No starters until 9.35pm after a big fuss the main served at 11pm and desert.....well we are still waiting for dessert so 1am in the morning.

The manager Paul not prepared to show his face and offer the 300 folks eating on here an explanation of why the service is so abmisel..............Do not book this boat...ie the whole boat for an event...thwy cannot cope...the staff get agitated which turns to rudeness..and tell customers that they are liars about how long they waited!!

Now they just exposed their behinds on how rude they can be...so unprofessional
