Went for a meal with my husband yesterday, we had a fantastic meal followed by the most amazing peach cake. We will definitely be going back and taking the family too. Staff were happy and friendly, this place is a little treasure on our doorstep.

We go here all the time. Great service and amazing food. Love it �

Was at the tawny owl last night for my brothers 40th , there was 18 of us , all had beautiful meals all the orders came out together nobody complained , great food . There was only one complaint and that was one of the bar staff that very rude , apart from that we had a great night x

Visited tawny owl tonight for a birthday meal - there were 9 of us and couldn’t fault the staff! The food was beautiful and the staff members were very welcoming and helpful! Would definitely go again!!

I cane in tonight with a large group of my family for my grandmothers birthday. Had great service, lovey food and was very good value for money. Will definitely be back.

First visit with my hubby today. We fancied somewhere different, so a little run out here today, was what we decided to do. Lovely place with a very welcoming entrance area. Lots of space out in the garden area, ideal for sun worshippers. Inside plenty of seating, spotlessly clean restaurant, with nice areas to dine. You can chose table indoors or out, and have the choice of quiet corners, larger family tables or boothy type. All with full table service! Bar staff were very welcoming and Zena was fantastic! She welcomed us in a beautiful manner, was very informative with regards to explaining the offers and specials, we were literally spoilt for choice! Once we finally made up our minds, the food came out without much of a wait, piping hot and very generous in portion sizes. I chose the smothered chicken, hubby had the Rib Eye steak, (both off the specials board.) We were so full we couldn't make room for pudding, but that isn't a problem as we will definately be returning, so will make sure we order one on that occasion!�

Big thank you to the entire team, for your high level of professionalism, happy nature and for making us feel looked after, and our custom valued. We shall see you all again very soon!!

First time visiting The Tawny Owl after it being recommended to me. Very satisfied, great food, great friendly staff, and a nice place to be. Food was piping hot and brought to us quickly, no problems at all, will denfinetly be coming back in the near future.

Excellent customer service, polite, informative, happy, engaging staff, made us feel welcomed and happy to be there ... deputy manager Connor was lovely with his staff .. and had a laugh with them at the bar ... will recommend and will visit again 👏👏👏

Came for our free meal for four yesterday, which I won by liking and sharing your Facebook post. Everybody was happy with their menu choice, literally too much to choose from, portions were a good size, tasty food too! Great friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you again, we will definitely be back!xx

Arrived sat evening we hadn’t booked after half hour found us a table took order and in next to no time drinks arrived and food shortly after excellent

Absolutely fantastic service. We, as a party of 25, were served a lovely lunch for our Mum's Birthday. On a busy day, nothing was too much trouble, staff were professional, organised & happy to join in with our banter. The food was excellent. Thanks to all of you there for a great afternoon.

First time here whilst visiting family. Food was spot on, girls were friendly and efficient and I liked the fact you get table service. Will be back again no doubt.

Well we've visited twice this week & what a difference!!

Mondays visit was lovely food with friendly staff on hand, tonight's meal was so different- we had to find someone to ask if we could order some food & someone was eventually sent over, the meals arrived and the hunters chicken was overdone but edible, we waited so long for our plates to be cleared that we eventually stacked them to the end of the table ourselves, with waiting so long we decided against pudding & asked for the bill, which we paid by cash but we never received the change, after waiting 15 minutes we decided to leave it.

We go to tawny owl often we used to like it alot but the last two times had bad times and the first time we had a sorry but nothing off our bill the second time which was yesterday just a free drink its not good enough in my eyes do not think we will be returning at any point soon on the other hand some of your staff are very friendly and helpfull

That was the worst experience i have had in a restaurant. Me my husband and 13 yr old was sat in the entrance to the family area. The staff were attentive the drinks and food served quickly. Thank good ness for that the noise was horrendous it was like sitting in a fun farm. We ate as quick as possible and left. Before leaving i mentioned our experience to the lady at the door. I was told they were expecting a table of forty so no quieter seat could be offered? The tables were empty? Very dissapointed as this was our only family meal out over christmas! ...
