We are looking for a part time kitchen member over the age of 18 who can work 12 hour shifts on a Saturday and Sunday (Saturday starting at 10 and Sunday starting at 9) and can start as soon as possible. They will also need to be available for Bank Holiday, during the school holidays and more over the summer as well as any staff absences. Flexibility is key in this position and a person of any experience will be considered as long as they are willing and quick to learn. They must also be able to be left in the kitchen to work independently. We just had a really lovely lunch. 10 of us arranged at the last minute and the staff were so understanding with my younger grandchildren. Food was delicious and the chips deserved the 5* rating on their own.

Lovely pub and staff 1st time we been food was fab great price for what you get and staff was lovely will be back

Great 16oz steak. Staff really friendly and helpful and pleasant. They are realy make a very good effort I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic spicy tomato soup ,lovely mushrooms and the steak pie was demolished by the husbands and the steak was lovely as was the chips.we will be back to sample sunday lunch when you start doing them.

Big menu with lots of choice - especially for the vegetarian in our group (me). All enjoyed the food which was fresh, generous in portion size and served with a friendly smile in a traditional pub style environment.

Amazing food had the “16 oz steak” definitely not 16oz more like 20 oz!!! Absolutely beautiful, onion rings are amazing! Could not fault anything Hannah the landlady also lovely and got such good proper customer service. Go back in a heartbeat xx

Very friendly staff. We had the sharer starter which was huge & great value for money,easily could feed 4 people!!! Main courses were also very generous in portions so really full up so no room for sweets,definitely need a healthy appetite to eat here but would recommend it as good value for money.

Very average. Wouldn’t go out if my way to go there. Pleasant staff but the food isn’t great. Nachos with a salsa more like a spicy ketchup and a curry very watery with naan bread that was rock hard round the edges.

Had the home made pie with new potatoes and cold peas. Liz had halloumi salad dry and over cooked don’t think we will be back

Yesterday I took my family to Teddington Hands for my birthday.

This was my second visit since change of management's.

I was again disappointed.

I was met by a member of kitchen staff wearing very dirty whites.

Was then taken to our table where we found a lot of food under the table when we pulled the chairs out.

The table really needed a good wipe with a damp cloth.

The food was basic.

We had a young person with us and she didn't enjoy the spice (pepper) that was cooked with the chips. I would recommend taking that spice away.

I noticed another comment on size of ice cream portion being small and I would agree with that.

I know I am told 3rd time lucky but I am sure that won't happen.

It is incredible shame what has happened to this restaurant I remember going there a few years ago for Sunday dinner with my children and it was fresh beautiful lovely food today I went there with my two children to Sunday dinner and the first thing I noticed when walking in the establishment was how empty the place was and with it being lunch time on a Sunday I would’ve thought a beautiful restaurant like this would’ve been very busy I even thought in my mind while driving there I wonder if I’m going to have to wait at the bar for a table we were greeted five wonderful staff the bar lady was incredibly friendly very welcoming and accommodating I cannot fault that at all She would most definitely get a 10 out of 10 I have to rate the food however on a two and that is me being generous the vegetables were incredibly and fresh they were not well cooked either the parsnips was so black you could not eat them the green beans were not fresh they were incredibly soggy and tasted like mouldy water the roast potatoes were so stale and dry it’s almost like they have been cooked the day before and then reheated the carrots and peas were okay but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to get that right . Gravy and the meat was yummy and there was plenty of it it’s unfortunate that they don’t have fresh lovely vegetables on the Sunday dinner it really did let it down and also there was no option of cauliflower or broccoli which in my opinion makes a Sunday dinner they would be better to take away the stale mouldy green beans and add some fresh broccoli and cauliflower I did order a plate of home-made onion rings because they sound yummy on the menu and was reasonably priced however I could not even eat one of them it looks like something you order from the Chinese like a sweet-and-sour chicken balls all the batter was incredibly thick and not crispy it was very very stodgy and wet and the onion was incredibly thick it was not tasty at all I would suggest not ordering it and they would get a lot better review had things been different today fresh roast potatoes and vegetables when ordering a roast dinner which is costing the best part of £10 per adult was a terrible shame . that it was not yummy. And judging on how dead the restaurant was and how staff was sat around not doing a great deal I really think they need to change their chef. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I thought the meal was expensive - not to mention £4-35 for a pint of beer shandy !!. Why do pubs charge so much for what is half beer and half lemonade ??

We come every year for breakfast before the races and have always spoke very highly of the breakfast everyone looks forward to it. NOT this year!!! Buffet breakfast below average it was awful. Place is normally that busy you can’t move again NOT this year place was about empty. You’ve gone from amazing talk of the the day breakfasts to this awful buffet stuff. We won’t be back next year

Terrible service meal took ages to arrive food was good when it eventually arrived , table not cleared after we had finished very very disappointing will not be returning.
