I was having a fun night and enjoying the atmosphere until I was leaving a young lady about 18 walked by me said she doesn't like me so it amused me as to why she doesn't so I said good for you for her to call me a tosser so I called her something I am ashamed of saying to be jumped on by her much older partner from behind which shocked me then I was much more shocked to my surprise I was ejected for the pub by a scruffy long hair bar member and another guy I assume was the landlord by my arms up my back and told never to return I am barred this is the first pub I have ever been barred from in my life I have a mental illness post traumatic stress disorder and anxiety and felt deeply hurt and embarrassed so for the beer I give two stars but for been thrown out of a pub for defending myself verbally is shocking being the victim guess if your an ex sitting member of the town you can get away with anything

Our friends arranged our wedding day buffet here. It was great surprise and delightful as they had only just opened the room

Small but always friendly and popular with decent prices. Has a pool table, large beer garden hosting occasional bands.

Good selection of beers and lager's including some guest beers, all at reasonable prices. Live music most weekends.
