The Thimblemill Pub has been in the Community for many years and has seen many friends come and go. Family parties, Community events. Add your memories, Land lord and Land Ladies. Parties, Charity events. Dart Teams and most of all a Baggies Pub.
A public house of 1928, designed by Wood, Kendrick and Edwin F Reynolds of Birmingham for the brewers Mitchells and Butlers. The Thimblemill Inn is named after the thimble mill that had existed in the area, served by the pond that now forms the centrepiece of the adjacent park. It is a long, low and symmetrical composition. The building is loosely Tudor in style. Materials consist of brick laid in Flemish bond, with some later colour wash, stone dressings and a hipped roof with sprocketed eaves of plain tiles. Either side of the main headed doorway are two stone-framed cross-mullioned windows of four and two lights, and the upper storey is lit by three symmetrical disposed dormers. There are four tall brick chimney stacks, also symmetrically disposed.

The building is set in a generous, approximately square site, bounded on three sides by Pargeter Road (North-West), Thimblemill Road (S-W) and Norman Road (S-E). The building is angled at roughly 45 degrees, so that its north face fronts onto the cross roads formed by Thimblemill Road and Norman Road. To its south is a flagged terrace and a high wall with steps which lead up to a disused bowling green and a detached club house. The building has two storeys with basement. Single storey wings containing lavatories angled north east to face onto Thimblemill Road. At ground floor level are a central, public bar with a smoking room to its west and a further bar to the east. Accommodation at first floor level for the landlord.
