Warm, welcoming and friendly. Good food! Try the calamari, lamb shanks then trio of desserts including the bourbon pecan pie!!! And the la vie en rose wine fabulous meal! Been several times but meal was today!
This Gastro pub has a really friendly atmosphere aided by a roaring fire and exceptionally friendly staff. The food is excellent, in fact, I am a very fussy eater and rarely order steak in pubs because I find them more often than not, overdone. The 3 horseshoes cook steak as I would expect to find in a 5 star restaurant- highly unusual for a pub.
Sunday lunch is a treat and good value- give it a whirl, ‘Kirsty’ and her team will certainly look after you - enjoy
Lovely staff who are polite and considerate plus great food to enjoy. A great place to go with friends or family for a day or night out :)
Lovely ed my food the sea bass fillets were scrumptious really would recommend them, however we go there every Sundays and love this place
Lovely anniversary lunch with family today, nice to see such a varied menu and a sweet menu to die for...so much choice!
Huge thanks to our wonderful waiter Jordan, who, although an extremely busy lad, with bar and restaurant, we could not fault, so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much, excellent service!! We'll be back ;)
Had a nice meal with a group of six. Our waiter, David was fantastic. He made sure we were looked after and made the evening. Food was fine. Good night had by all.
Came here for lunch with my nana a couple of weeks ago. The lovely waitress remembered us from before and remembered my nana saying she liked the table by the big window so specially got it cleaned up and ready for us. The new menu was lovely the food arrived quickly and tasted delicious with huge portions. Will definitely be back again.
Booked a table for Sunday Lunch. Staff were really friendly and menu was good. We both had a roast dinner and I could not fault them at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we will be back soon x
Popped in for a drink and a meal with a friend. The meal as always was lovely but there is never enough staff behind the bar even on a Friday and Saturday. There was also a group of workmen in the bar and the language was disgusting and the staff didn't say anything to them. We ended up leaving because we wanted a quiet meal to relax after a long week at work.
Had a meal with Husband last night and was so pleased we will be going back , The food was so nice Hubby had the hock , wow was large succulent and tasty and the mash was very tasty and creamy , I had the nicest Hunters chicken , Staff made us feel relaxed ,
Good service and food was tasty but both starter and main meal were not hot. No one came to ask if our food had been ok as they were really busy. I would have told them if they had. We will go again but would not be happy if this happened.
Accommodated us without booking and busy as usual on a Sunday, lovely roast dinners but this time not as good as last, food arrived quickly but just warm and the puds were slightly overdone, won't put us off going again though
The menu was very good, the food arrived hot and tasty. Sadly the service let them down, slow and very forgetful regarding our order and the first round of drinks did not arrive until we reminded the staff. I think possibly short staffed.
Never been in before so thought we would give it a go. Couldn't fault the service but the food wasn't that great. One of the staff seemed under pressure as wasn't that helpful to people wanting to eat. Can't fit you in guys try the pub down the road. That's one way to get rid of customers I'm sure they won't be back
Had a great catch up with friends over Sunday lunch. Unfortunately my roast had under cooked parsnips and burnt Yorkshire pud. The waitress very quickly offered free hot drink and dessert to compensate. My friends meals were lovely though.
Ate there New Years Eve, my starter and main were disappointing. We were discount for our food x 2 starters and 2 mains but paid for our drinks. This was a kind gesture to say the least.
Had Sunday lunch yesterday. It was cold. My pudding was cold.
They need to read these reviews more...
We have been before for a Sunday roast but this time it was awful! Cold food , rotten potatoes and our waitress went home after we had ordered dessert and so we waited about 20 mins for another waitress to realise , it was awful service and awful food , such a shame
The guy who served us was friendly and good at his job.
Unfortunately the menu was very restricted as not a lot of choice for my mum who is a plain eater. I much preferred the last menu but my food was nice and hot but don't think I will go there again.
The food was terrible, I had the roast 'platter'. The one tiny slice of lamb I had was hard to find and very fatty. My carrots were raw, my roast potatoes were burnt or bruised. One of our meals on a table of four was brought out about ten - fifteen minutes after the rest, after we had to remind them it was missing. For the price of the meal I was not impressed and I won't be coming here again.
