Well where do I start !

Arrived for afternoon tea with 3 friends which was absolutely beautiful and what a selection !

On arriving until we finished we were looked after and waited on by the amazing staff x

Nothing was a problem making sure we always had fresh tea x

The selection of cakes , sandwiches and scones were amazing too .

We couldn’t eat it all and nothing was a problem when asked if we could box the leftovers up to take home .

This hidden gem of a restaurant also serves a fantastic selection of hot and cold food at reasonable prices too and freshly cooked Sunday dinners .

Will definitely be returning with my family �

We had afternoon tea to celebrate a friends birthday, it was fantastic. A beautiful variety of sandwiches, scones, cakes and a never ending supply of tea and coffee. We will certainly be going back, the staff are so friendly and the chefs supplied us with a very creative assortment of food. Thank you. xx

We had a really nice meal for my birthday, the service was good and the food cooked to order. The new team have made a huge difference in a short time, I’m so pleased that this is our local pub.

Visited on bank holiday Monday. Booked to sit in the private room at the back (I think it's call the orangery I may be wrong) There was 20 of us and honestly not one had a bad comment. Everyone was pleased with food, it was plentiful, fresh and delicious. Staff were lovely. Will 100% be re visiting and recommend to anyone who wants some super tasty food and a great selection of drinks x thanks to all the staff for a lovely night x

Took my dad and his partner Here yesterday for afternoon tea and it was fantastic absolutely loved it well worth the money the 3 of us could not eat it all and was asked if we would like the rest boxed to take home which many places do not offer, the girl that looked after us was fantastic making sure the teapot was topped up and chris and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful so thank you to you all for a wonderful afternoon and my dads partner was in her ore with all the selection of gins you have on offer she worked a way 4 and she said she will be back to try the rest so watch out... Thank you again

The food is top notch these days and the atmosphere is lovely. Very family / kid friendly and we noticed dog friendly too with a dog play area soon to open. I'd imagine it's tough running a successful pub these days but these guys have got it just right. We'll certainly be back on a regular basis.

Recently visited this pub with my wife and we both had the steak pie wow is all I can say such a friendly place helpful staff and the beer is lush will deffo be back with all my kids and grandkids in tow a+++++

We couldn't of thanked staff at The Three Horseshoes & Balloon Bedlam enough they made our day so special and made it stress free through out so we could enjoy our day from beginning to end! The Marque was stunning and the food was fabulous with so many happy faces!... to top our day off they helped us announce our pregnancy which was lovely

The fish & chips were nicely presented in printed paper , old fashion style & the tastiest I've had. The fish was huge & the chips were something else , triple cooked! Somebodies dessert looked pretty yummy to , so I will be back to try !

Had a fabulous meal with my husband here last night. good choice for on the menu, quick service, lovely staff and the food was excellent. we had the ploughman’s sharing starter, followed by Crusted Salmon with coriander, lime and chilli salad, salmon was cooked perfectly and buttermilk chicken burger, which my husband said was delicious. We didn’t have desert, but a lovely old gentleman sat nearby had sticky toffee pudding and seemed to enjoy tucking. definitely recommend and will go back soon. Well priced.

Lovely friendly staff very welcoming and brilliant with the children when we bring them getting them colouring'in stuff and being very attentive.

Meals are consistently nice, we usually order of the two for £12 menu, very large portions and fresh cooked food defiantly recommend.

Can i just say we havent been to this pub for few years after bad experiance.

We walked up today with kids and can i say what a change the new owners have made fast service great food and what a great day for kids your pub was full to brim and well done to all of you very clean tidy and great service we be back for sure now back to our local. Eveyone has had a great day thank you...

Came here after hearing loads good feedback ( never been in my life mind ) and i wasn't disappointed ! I'm a vegetarian and I'm a very picky eater Kathie said if i told staff they could accommodate a few tweaks with me being fussy . I chose not to cause disruption so i ordered the white bean and sweet potato chilli it was to die for best chilli I've EVER tasted . My hubby opted for a kids meal of sausage mash beans ( due to being diabetic and his sugars were through the roof so he wasn't really hungry but didn't want me to eat alone ) i stole some of his potato because it was so nice ! Staff are very helpful and very friendly I'm not a 1 for trying new places with being so picky but I'm pleased i came here instead if my husbands choice of Tynemouth was lovely to talk to Kathie too keep up the good work you are doing a grand job xx

Absolutely brilliant. Went on Saturday with daughter and family and friends and I cannot fault it whatsoever. Staff are so friendly. The park is better than before. More fun for kiddies to play with. Met the owner and I’ve never met anyone so worried about kid environment and trying her best to keep everyone happy! You need to learn to take a step back and look at everyone enjoying themselves. Well done to you and I will be back.

Was there last night celebrating our friends 25th wedding anniversary had a lovely night food was lovely apart from the lack of some peas or onion rings & choice of maybe pineapple instead of egg served with the gammon two of us ordered it & it was really lovely but like I say could ha e been presented better.Also not really disabled friendly think this really needs looking into apart from this had a lovely night x

Tasty sunday lunch - the beef was plentiful and tasty (should have asked for more gravy) and the pate starter georgous too. My hubby loved his fish and chps/peas and the crab was yummmmy. They were very very busy snd we had not booked but service was good and staff really pleasant. We sat in the orangry which was lovely.

Sunday lunch was delicious, landlady excellent with the kids (who were rolling all over the floor whilst trying to eat dinner �) great park for the kids who happily played for ages while we chilled with a couple of drinks in the park, plenty of outdoor benches. Will deffo be back �

Myself and partner have been for Sunday Lunch this afternoon. After visiting straight after the re-opening and finding the menu a bit pricy I was pleasantly surprised at the two courses for £12 option today. Both starters were good sized portions and presented well - the soup was tasty, the pate was slightly bland but I still enjoyed it as the bread was nice. The main was delicious, we both chose beef and couldn't believe how much there was. Great selection of veg, nice home made Yorkshire pudding, mash, new potatoes and roasties, what more could you want....slightly more gravy maybe but the table behind asked for more and it arrived instantly. Staff were all pleasant and with the sun beaming in the conservatory it was a lovely lunch. Would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. We will definitely be coming back soon.
