Yeah, not bad as far as pub grub goes. Got to remember, its a pub not a restaurant. I was happy with it, good extensive menu. If i had one small gripe it'd be the load foul mouthed guys stood at the bar. Bit off putting wen your eatin with children. It is Bolton though isn't it & boltoners aren't known for there etiquette & finesse.

Quick service and food was hot, the lady who served our food was extremely polite, my only gripe was the coleslaw, but still tasty, was warm probably due to being under the hot lamp ready for service, I just prefer mine a little cooler, all in all a pleasant Tuesday treat.

Not been in the three pigeon for quite a while. Really surprised us, it has been freshly spruced up and my congratulations to the chef. The menu has been improved exceptionally, tried the duck it was very moorish and could have eaten the whole menu. Well done guys, I will be back.

Not been here before but thought I'd take family in for food before we went to the circus over the road. The food was excellent for "pub" food, the staff were very helpful and polite and when I noticed a discrepancy on my bill it was immediately resolved. The surroundings and toilet facilities are nice and clean and tidy and there's a very nice beer garden and outside areas to sit in the nice weather. Good all round family pub! �

Nicola was so helpful, lovely friendly service. We didn’t have the easiest of orders and she couldn’t have been any more hospitable. Great atmosphere and fantastic staff!

Lovely meals this eve, served straight away at the bar, meals served within 10 minutes and friendly staff. We had the American platter, Chicken Skewers and Simple chicken, Ste you are doing a fab job with your team.

Love this place, quite a frequent visitor because of how good the place is! Staff are lovely and food is great! Top quality!

Had a great steak there tonight for £5!! Staff were great particularly vicky and Jordan who looked after us really well - really friendly and efficient service from both of them

Had a Right laugh with the guy who can't afford shampoo , the bloke who sets about his socks ... mattress back in the corner , the fish mongers wife who kicked a fuss cause her cod wasn't cod ... the ankle biter with his branch & the 2 who became 3 and turned into Bolton massive 🤣🤣

Great new menu and my food was lovely had parr parr chicken skewers and 2 kids meals all plates were empty pleasant staff

Great local pub and great food. They now have a large screen for sporting events which is even better.

Come in here a lot as we don’t live too far away. Came in with my family on Monday 12th June and just want to say the service from the young man who was waiting the tables was brilliant! He was a very helpful and polite.

Beautiful food has a lovely seating area out back for sunny days and the staff was friendly we will be going back 👌🏼

Always a great pub for lunch...a warm welcome and good food...but bring back the steak, mushroom and onion baguette...!!

Absolutely fabulous xx I have been in a handful of times recently....but tonight was exceptional..the team here are fantastic..my dad recently had an operation and can't get out..they don't know me or him but these lovely staff did fish n chips to go for my parents, outstanding and beyond the call of duty, u went the extra mile for me and my family x credit where it's due, a family in business and a pleasure to eat in this restaurant x lovely welcoming staff, will definitely be back ...as much as possible..and the food well....perfect even after a 10 min drive x the best xxxxx thanks so much guys xxxx may I add that all the staff here are wonderful and nothing but friendly and attentive xx

Not been in here for a while (after bad experience and rude staff). i am pleased to say the new menu was great and cooked perfect. A new drinks menu with a great selection of cocktails too :-).



It seems the new team and manager are moving this back to what it once was....new staff, new toilets and hopefully new interior too :-). i used to love the family fun days, firework nights and have good memories...Good Luck and well done so far!

I don't know what people expect for a fiver these days but I enjoyed my all day breakfast, no unnecessary noise and it's convenient cos on my way home. Staff did not exceed my expectations but didn't disappoint either

Good Pub a little expensive though it's a good stop off point before going into town

This place has gone down hill. Absolutely appalled at the fact I’ve been penalised for taking my dog with me. Not been given access to the full menu just because I’m sat outside with my dog and the response I got was “sorry” and a smaller ‘outside’ menu shoved in my face, How ridiculous, only 7 items on the ‘outside’ menu and all sandwiches and chips. Very disappointed.

Ordered full rack of ribs, they came out and I had the smallest ribs with no meat on, my wife had duck fajitas the wraps were hard and duck rubbery, have had meals here before and was always good tonight not impressed at all waste of money.

It doesnt help with one member of staff serving behind the bar and was getting busier.

The meals took longer than it should have. My steak was tough to chew and my chips had been over cooked and hard to eat.

One of our friends we where with, had been waiting nearly an hour for theirs.

It and wen it came it was burnt couldn't even get my fork in the scampi it was that hard,and the fish well wat can I say there was only abit of fish in the batter and it was hard and yellow other end was all batter and my daughters chicken nugget kids meal well safe to say she didn't eat it. Sorry three pigeons but won't be coming back.

went in today for Father's Day with my dad n as soon as we walked in we got dirty looks from everyone. my dad went up to the bar to order some drinks n tried to make convo with the bartender (who served other people who came after us, before us) n he completely blanked him. Didn't even make eye contact or convo, didn't say welcome or be with u in a minute to be polite. Was completely rude and horrible.

Went for tea at Three Pigeons in Christmas eve as we have done for years, this staff were slow and unprofessional looked like they had been picked from the street, ordered "2 foot tikka" I ate the curry which was fine, the salad was missing altogether and the naan was like cardboard, it's supposed to be rolled at the end but mine was shaped in a triangle because of snapping when it was rolled, it was inedible, I told the waitress when she collected our plates her reply was "oh right I'll tell him" I presume she meant the chef but there was no apology or explanation or follow up, really disappointed in a place we like to visit regularly, must be new people because the whole experience was not up to scratch

Was all positive vibes lots of pints on the go and everyone happy until callum sang no surrender Christmas trees are for benders smashed the tree up and got everyone kicked out by the angery small male, however the sesh lived on despite the fact he wouldn't serve any us we had a good time apart from the 4-0 loss ok?

Took my mum for her birthday lunch today, she's 92. As we've been before we picked out favourite from the menu, mushroom and stilton chicken. After waiting just over an hour it arrived. I wouldn't have fed it to the dog! Chicken was like an old boot mushrooms were like rubber there was hardly any sauce. "Mashed potato" was definitely reconstituted and dry and the peas were like bullets. What's happened? Definitely won't be going there again. Told the staff and they offered a replacement but as we'd already waited so long we declined. A definite no no.

Just been in here for our tea well what can I start with burgers and steak where all burnt and the bacon on the burgers seemed like it'd been there since breakfast. And are frozen chip's really that expensive that you can't put more than a dozen on the plate x my eggs on my gammon seemed to have been cooked with all of the above. And no one was around to complain to on leaving so left we did and will not be returning EVER!!!!

Came here for my sons 3rd birthday meal on wed 26th july with a group of 10 people. We all ordered witin 3 minutes on 4 seperate orders. Mine and my partners and billys food came out 1 hour after everyone had finished there meal. By the time it came out we didnt even feel like eating it. The young lad that was serving was really polite and the lady that brought the cake out was really nice. But the lady that was serving was not helpful one bit was messing orders up because she was to buzy talking to men at the bar. 1 of my customers recomonded we came for billys birthday here. But i will be telling them how bad it was. I will not be recomending this place to anyone.

He was unfriendly and a little rude at times. We ate our food and sat around drinking and chatting, when we left, an hour and a half later, our food plates and bowls had still not been cleared away.
