amazing food. i had the ham egg and chips and the quality of the food was there to see. polite and friendly staff. i highly recommend this place for food.

Went here yesterday for my 2nd ever time 15 years apart, the food was excellent and the service was very good, great selection of choices and brilliant prices, I only live 35 mins drive away in north Cornwall so I'll be back soon!

We received a very warm welcome and were seated straight away. The drinks we ordered arrived promptly and the food was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and attentive - we will definitely be returning this week! �

We love it here. Been several times over the years and can’t wait to return this year! Food is the best and the beer is just scrumptious. Highly recommend

We have eaten and had drinks at the Three Pilchards on many occasion on our visits to Polperro and it didn’t fail to disappoint yesterday. I had monkfish scampi which was delicious and my husband and son had scampi/fish n chips. The only disappointment (probably a blessing) was no dessert menu �

Love the new carpet too! Always feels so homely and friendly �

We had a lovely evening meal in the upstairs dining area - unfortunately there was no crab left for a crab sandwich but we shared the seafood platter which was delicious and plenty of it - would highly recommend and will definitely be paying another visit next time we are in the area - also very friendly and helpful young waiters

We always eat at the pilchards when we come on holiday to Looe, we visit Polperro especially to have lunch here. Today was no exception. Kids menu is extremely limited and I get the feeling it's not aimed at family's. But the food and the service is top notch and has been for the last 10 years we have been visiting

We absolutely loved this beautiful welcoming pub ,all staff were amazing especially our wonderful waitress Kayla ! Nothing was too much trouble for her ! We have often found that when visiting pubs like this they are not child friendly but she went over and above for our three children! My daughter wanted to try crab for the first time but we didn’t want to spend money on a main meal if she didn’t like it , Kayla without hesitation disappeared to the kitchen and returned with a sample pot of crab ! Absolutely amazing ! Thanks so much for a fantastic experience!

The view from the garden was stunning and the food was delicious! If we return to Cornwall then we will definitely be returning xxxx thanks from the Hargreaves family xxx

This is a little gem in the heart of Polperro, excellent atmosphere, mine hosts are very welcoming and the food is delicious, have eaten here twice this week and can’t see any reason not to finish off the next 2 nights here, highly recommend this little pub, the fish and chips are second to none!

My 6yr old son and I loved our food at the Three Pilchards Inn 😋🍽 My BLT sandwich was delicious and my son ate all his ham, egg and chips! 😋 Lovely view from the top terrace too. The staff were really friendly, helpful and went out of their way to assist us. One waiter even chased away a wasp for us! We would happily go back next time we're in Polperro, and recommend it to others 👍

Little bit of Heaven in the Harbour here...amazingly cozy, comfy and oh such caring, friendly, welcoming staff and out of this world menus-catering to so many tastes-absolutely delicious well prepared food..cant say enough..missing it already..Love it-highly recommend.

Great place. Sat upstairs on the roof terrace incredible views over the harbour. Went in with 3 dogs they couldn't have been more welcoming. Had scallops which were fantastic. Couldn't recommend more highly!!

From a very warm welcome as soon as we walked in, to the helpful advice over what delicious dish to order, we couldn't fault our experience. Only had drinks in here before and finally managed to enjoy their food. We had the delicious sea bass with cauliflower and broccoli cous cous in a tomato and pepper sauce, and scallops with an amazing salad etc. Both absolutely delicious. I have a feeling we'll return very soon...possibly tomorrow! Thank you to everyone for such a friendly and fantastic experience. (Review left on Trip Advisor too) X

Exceptional ..... we ate in here twice over the busy Easter period and both times the service and food was fantastic. All staff were friendly and made us as a family with 2 kids and a dog feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning at the new year.

After spending nearly an hour trying to find somewhere serving food before 6pm, we found this place. Absolutely lovely meal at The Three Pilchards this afternoon. Cider battered fish and chips were cooked beautifully and the eggs were possibly some of the best duck eggs I've ever had!

Service was friendly and prompt with a nice atmosphere � Will definitely return and would recommend 100% ��

This is a pub...but feels like a Restaurant! Greeted on entrance...if you are not eating, then you are directed to the bar, or the beer garden. You are not allowed to sit at the tables unless you are eating! Granted, the quality of the food is high, but this establishment needs to decide whether they are a Restuarant or a public house????

Please mention somewhere on your website that pushchairs aren’t allowed. We were really looking forward to eating here and even managed to time it when the baby was sleeping. We were there early and you could’ve had another sitting at the table we would have used but you preferred to let us go elsewhere which in fact was delightful (The Ship).

Seriously not impressed been to Polperro for over 10 years and not happy about my sisters experience today at the three pilchards! Popped in for a drink with our niece as she was asleep and they wanted to have half an hour to themselves for a quick drink! However despite empty tables in the pub when they entered they were basically told if not having food they should fold the pram down !! Even though baby was asleep !! Clearly if your not buying food your not welcome in the three pilchards even when it’s empty !!
