Well worth a visit
We arrived on our Tiger Moro bikes, we had a great day. The staff were amazing and exceptionally helpful. A great experience for all age groups.
This was a planned visit amongst a two week touring holiday in our campervan. We had allowed for this visit whilst moving sites from Warwick to Weymouth. Originally this was the boy's choice (my husband and 13 year old son) I was happy to just tag along and have a latte in the cafe but no need, I was as interested and surprised as them and enjoyed all the information and displays. Glad we came.
Second visit to see the tigers and every bit as good as the first. Added bonus, for me, was it was a quiet Wednesday so I could get up very close to each tiger and take clear pictures 😬
As usual enjoyed the rest of the museum and it’s fabulous collections and I shall wear my 131 cap at other museums over the summer
Must see for tank and history lovers
It is awesome
Heavy metal vehicles in every sense. The Tiger Collection is the main attraction but, check out the rest of the exhibits.
The early British tanks, the WW2 German, Russian and American classic tanks and a wide range of other fascinating armoured vehicles. Then explore the surrounding area, which is lovely!
Great day out, so much to see. Allow a full day to see everything. Several places to eat and reasonable value. Tiger day extra special, sensory overload, hearing, seeing and smelling all the tanks running in the arena. They don't just run the Tiger tank, they had a Chieftain, M60, 2 Leopards, Matilda and Comet in the arena for an hour.
Excellent day out. So much to do and see. Moving and informative. We will be back.
Cracking day out , did get to see fury would have been better if she was exhibited in the main arena , Tigers we’ll speak for themselves..
