The food here tastes amazing, good choice of quality lagers. The staff have good banter and are pleasant. There are two gardens which offer a different feel to the pub, there are multiple screens to watch sport on around the pub with a separate dining area for a quit meal. A brand new top of the range pool table and brand new dart board and light. There's a play area and an enclosed area for ball games.

Thank you guys so much for the Sunday lunch that we won via a Facebook competition. Both had the beef which was amazing. Largest Yorkshire puddings we’ve ever seen and the best gravy! Thank you so much we will be back!

Organised my Bfs surprise 30th here back in January, staff were really friendly and helpful the whole journey from booking to the actual day. Having worked in hospitality for years on and off I have high standards but I felt it was all delivered on the day. Well done!

Greeted with a very warm welcome from staff and the food was exactly what I imagined it should be from ordering it, definitely going to be coming back here.

Had my 50th birthday drinks here a few weeks ago and there was a bit of a hiccup due to other people having a bit of a fall out. The landlord was amazing and I went back this evening for a meal with a group of friends. We've just had the most lovely time! Great food, great company and impeccable service � Thank you SO much!! I'll definitely be coming back. It's a great pub with great food. And the toilets are fine!!! I've just read the other reviews, ���

Great atmosphere .. food was great and staff very friendly. Very very busy whilst we were there due to hot weather and a band but staff worked really hard to keep everyone happy .

Really good local pub. Excellent Sunday Lunch today. Apparently they have a new chef and it seems he can really cook! The roast pork was delicious and the Yorkshire pudding just the right side of crunchy. They also serve a very good pint of Harvey's and with lovely service from friendly staff this makes for an excellent town based pub.

Good pub with plenty of space. Big wrap round bar. Friendly helpful staff. Make sure you book your car in at the bar,otherwise it may be expensive bill for you!

Very dark inside since its make over. Also the food is no longer typical pub fare with extra ta daaa. It's nice food but not my cup of tea, plus the beer price is kinda steep now. Sadly no longer a place I want as a regular hang out

The decor is nice, the food is good, the staff are very friendly. What lets this place down are the toilets. Half the lights not working, locks that don't work, and not cleaned properly. Won't be going back til this is sorted.

Had my Daughters 18th birthday meal here, although we pre-booked it felt like they didn't know we were coming, service was slow and when starters arrived, two were missing. We waited along time for plates to be cleared and although we didn't mind, as we were in no rush it was then disappointing to have the mains with another meal missing for 10 minutes. This was a very special occasion and we were recommended by friends to this venue. It is also advertised on the website to cater for large parties and special occasions.

Very disappointed with the roast pork I ordered Sunday. 3 very small pieces that would normally make 1slice, very thin and microwaved to become dry and hard at edges. Had to back this and ask for more meat. Meal returned, minus dry hard bits, but still only 3really exceptionally small pieces. Won't be going back, shame cos I really rated the roast I had there 2weeks earlier, told all my friends on Fb to go there, now if they do, they will blame me for saying it was good

The new menu is very disappointing and expensive. I didn't enjoy my meal and was surprised at my friend's meal of corned beef hash which seemed to have had the corned beef fried in some sort of coating - although I gather this is a northern way of eating it but not mentioned on the menu! I used to enjoy the veggie options in your pub but will no longer be eating there.
