Whilst on a weekend break in Eastbourne we found this little gem of a pub. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcome. It is nicely decorated, has really friendly owners and staff, has a great atmosphere and it attracts the right crowd. They have real ales too - I didn't want to leave!
Went to Eastbourne for the first time and stumbled across this little gem. Went back the following week and it was even better. We are going down for the long weekend this weekend and I cannot wait...food great, alcohol in abundance...friendly staff...
Went on first time on Sunday cracking pub and cracking staff see you soon
Was in Eastbourne looking for somewhere to spend my wedding anniversary last night. Karaoke not my normal thing but was a banging night. Thoughts echoed by Mrs J. Decent Prosecco at a fair price. If in Eastbourne and looking for good beer, plonk and fun a must go...
Visited eastbourne for the first time in a couple of years and went into the townhouse , was shocked at how welcoming and helpful the staff were , we only came in for one but ended up staying for a few hours , good music , most sports played here too and a mix of both young and older , we really enjoyed ourselves , thank you all so so much ,see you again Wednesday .
This was my first visit to Eastbourne and what a great place to chill out with friends over drinks. Great ambience, friendly staff.

I moved down to Eastbourne from Birmingham & the town house was on my way home so I popped in just to see what the inside looks like I have not looked back I love it in there it's a friendly pub . Chris & Amy make you feel welcome . Plus a open fire with sofas just like been back home xxx
Down in Eastbourne for a few days I'm from Nottingham where we have a vast range of real ale pubs a lot are free trade pubs with at least 7 real ales on. I like this pub but on the 2 occasions I went in 2 of the hand pumps had no beer on.i came in Friday evening still 2 hand pumps had no beer on that is my only complaint. Apart from this a great boozer
Brilliant atmosphere. Friendly staff and good prices xx
Been in a few times now, love it, good beers, real ale, friendly staff
A good local pub. The landlady is very friendly. You can still vape in the pub but I would always ask the staff if they are okay with this first. Overall this is great pub in the heart of Eastbourne

So different now; Friday 8th June 2018. I believe it's under even newer management so I really hope they turn this pub back around and have it packed just like it was before. Bring back DJ Elvis (Martin). I was told tonight that no one wants to hear my song before even being given a chance...half the people in the pub requested the bloody song for me. Fair enough if there was no time as I did turn up late but no need for the DJ to be so rude to me. I'm 29 and I don't want to sing the same old stuff everyone else is. Frustrated and disappointed...
