What an amazing baby shower we had yesterday for my daughter Carla. Can honestly say everything was perfect. The room looked stunning and the food was excellent. Thanks to Nicola who was very professional and made sure everything was perfect for us. Thanks again to Nicola, Donna and the rest of the team. I would highly recommended this venue for any occasion or just meal and drinks � xx

We visit the travellers frequently and the quality of the food, service, atmosphere are second to none. There are lots of options for people with special dietary needs, nothing is ever too much trouble. Your waitresses Joanna and Megan are an absolute credit to you- please thank them for making my birthday extra special yesterday!

Recently refurbished, thought we would give it a try. New owner, obviously spent some money on the inside too. Just calling it your local pub would not do it justice. Bit of class truth be told, nice atmosphere and great staff. Had Sunday lunch and could not fault a single thing, we'll be back!

Just been to travellers for lunch for my mum's birthday an the food was excellent an the service was brilliant we all had the 2 courses for £10.95 great value for money would recommend to anyone will definitely back here again best meal out I've had in along time!

I have to say, this place was a great find, on our travels from York to Nottingham, and back via Barnsley.



I had a Roast Pork lunch. I thought it was great value. The food was excellent, with lots of choice and very generous portions, cooked to perfection.

Even though I was full, I also had a cheesecake dessert, that was also spot on.

I have ate food here once before and enjoyed it. I loved the atmosphere and decor so booked my sister's baby shower there. All the staff were more than helpful and we enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place.

I had my 21st birthday meal here with a whopping 30 people and I just want to say a massive thank you!! The food and hospitality was perfect. Everyone enjoyed their meals - very big portions but big portions of good quality food! Everyone came away saying they loved it and couldn't wait to go back. Thanks again, I will be returning very soon!!

Had our 4 month old christening at the travellers yesterday and can honesty say everything was perfect. The buffet was to a very high standard and the staff could not have done more for us. Will definitely use this pub again. Thanks again to Nicola and her team

Had my little lads birthday meal yesterday for a table of 10, food was cooked to perfection, portions sizes were humongous too! Great value for money! Waitresses were unbelievably welcoming and engaged with everyone. 10/10 would recommend this place to absolutely anyone.

Fantastic night for Maria’s birthday. A big thank you to Donna who looked after us all night. She was brilliant from from start to finish, taking bookings and looking after us on the night which made it perfect for us

Been for our lunch today, beautiful food and fantastic staff. We go quite frequent but this is first time since they started the new menu. I had a lamb kofta wrap, which was lovely and the hubby had a pasta dish with mushrooms and sausage in it, which he says was the best pasta dish he has had . Well done Robert lovely as always x

Beautiful food! The taste was phenomenal. They had everything prepared for my 1 year old son too, seat, plate, knife folk and spoon at the ready. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, I will definitely come back for round 2. Excellent most pleasant experience. Thank you very much!

Portions were massive ,food well presented and staff brilliant

Massive portion sizes, great staff. They were really helpful and attentive.

For a roadside pub in birdwell, I found the drinks to be quite expensive. (£4.50 for vodka and a splash of lemonade)

Other than that, was lovely.

Brilliant pub. Would give 5 if any of the pubs turned the music up a bit. None of the pubs in birdwell have much atmos. Being able to hear the music over people talking seriously enhances a pub in my experience.



But as far as beer and food goes its a great place. Very modern looking
