The Travelling History Company

The Travelling History Company provides history and humanities to home educators, schools and community groups. We also deliver archaeology outreach on excavations.

We deliver history and humanities to home educators and schools, either as one off events or regular teaching sessions. We focus on immersive and engaging history and multi disciplinary learning, often combing history, science, literacy and art into broad educational experience. Artefacts serve as our textbooks and our learning typically includes the opportunity for students to handle a broad range of historical and geological specimens.

As holders of the quality badge of the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom, as much activity as possible takes place outdoors.

We run weekend retreats combining history, archaeology and astronomy at a variety of amazing outdoor centres and exclusive campsites.
