Went to this pub on Tues evening as it was close to were we were staying. Quality of food was excellent, all home cooked in an open style kitchen. Staff were very pleasant and really made you feel welcome. Would definately go again if we were in the area and would highly recommend it.

We were staying across the road so popped over for just a drink at first. We then saw and smelt the food.

An hour or so later there was 5 very happy new customers if in the area again. Quality and quantity. Staff very friendly. Seeing your food being readied is excellent.

We had a super lunch, great value and top notch service, thanks guys...

Visited the Tavern for a pre show Sadlers Wells performance. Menu was different and my starter and main were both well presented and extremely tasty. Staff very friendly. Good value. Would go again.

The food, the service and the vibe are all top notch here. Great value for central London, especially with their 2 course meal offer between 5-7pm. Thanks! Nice for a casual drink outside too.

The food is lovely not what you would expect from a pub... But in a good way. Catch of the day was lovely in fact all the food was amazing. Staff couldn't have been nicer. If you are in the area it is a must rather than some of the branded places where you get rubbish food and service...just saying

The Union Tavern takes pub food to deliciously inventive heights in a delightfully cozy neighborhood atmosphere at very reasonable prices. Their friendly staff will make you feel right at home and delight your taste buds. Highly recommend!!

Nice pub with friendly staff and good food! The best thing is that they have a really good lunch and early dinner menu if you want a decently priced 2-course meal. :)

Is just across the road from the hotel we were staying and we popped over for a late lunch at 3pm. The food was outstanding in both quality and value for money and we would highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and the service was excellent. Full marks from us

I came here with my mum, dad and friend; we were looking for somewhere to eat and literally found this little gem by accident - we were glad we did! We were welcomed with a smile; the atmosphere was friendly and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food was served promptly; it was hot and generously proportioned. Unfortunately (?) because the food was so delicious we were comfortably full and unable to sample the temptingly mouth-watering sounding puddings! The lunchtime meal deal was very competitive and worth every penny and we were able to add any extras we wanted to. I would highly recommend the Union Tavern and I would definitely visit again. Thank you.

Great value, top notch food much better than usual pub fare. Great selection of ales also from around the world and great courteous staff. Amazing place but don't take my table. !!

Great spot. We walked over from staying at the Crown Plaza to have tea here. Staff could not be more friendly. Like walking into your local back in Australia. Dave is an ex-pat and very customer driven. Top menu, great food and a good selection of brews and spirits. Thanks Union Tavern �

Decided to eat here after seeing it opposite our hotel “the crowne plaza”

Food is excellent with home made houmous, real thick home cooked chips etc.....

It really is a must if your looking for high quality food at s reasonable price

Came here before watching Morrissey, great welcome, friendly staff , nice clean place, food was excellent , nice atmosphere was getting very busy as we were leaving , would definately go back if I was in the area

A second home, the Union Tavern is stellar on all fronts. Creative menu (I love the zucchini frittatas), attention to everything (warm bread & butter), fantastic service (Marco's completely charming, as are his colleagues) & a gorgeous setting (beveled glass, high original ceilings)... and to top it off enormously affordable (they always give our 6 year old food for nearly free!)



I can't recommend the Union Tavern more highly
