Very bad experience. Do not go there unless you want a horrible hair cut. Low quality salon in every way. I had also eyebrow tattoo a year ago and that went completely wrong too. I should have never returned at least my hair would not have been damaged so badly....NEVER AGAIN....

Amazing Experience At The Usual Suspects!

Had a fantastic colour and cut with Carrie today.

I visited the salon as part of a deal which included a colour and cut. Carrie was fantastic right from the initial consultation, colour, lovely lovely hair wash/conditioning treatment and blow dry.

Lovely friendly staff would highly recommend it to anyone - have booked my next appointment already!

I recently visited the Usual Suspects salon as part of a deal which included highlights/colour, cut and blow dry. Unfortunately my experience at the salon left much to be desired. I can only imagine that the stylist i was allocated was having a bad day based on her attitude towards me. Initially she took very little interest in what i even wanted doing to my hair, merely suggesting that she just put in some highlights as well as low lights but without discussing shades or anything. Whilst putting in my foils, she made barely any attempt to communicate expect to say how fed up she was of doing highlights all week, and constantly tutting to herself. When it was time for the foils to come out i was left in the care of two other members of staff who alternated washing my hair. I was taken through to another room which can only be described as a large walk in cupboard to have my hair washed. Whilst having my hair washed the member of staff enquired if I was taking part in the deal to which she replied how she couldn't understand why the salon was offering such a deal and not making any profit out of it, which in fact made me feel very uncomfortable and an inconvenience. The room with the basins also joined on to the staff room/ bar, so there was a constant flow of staff squeezing past me whilst having my hair washed, few of which felt it was ok to make derogatory comments and use toilet humour . Once my hair was washed my original stylist was busy finishing someone else’s hair, so she requested for someone to rough dry my hair and she would dry cut it into a bob, this left me a little apprehensive. It then became apparent why she wanted my hair dried before she commenced my hair cut.... she was desperate to finish so she could go out for drinks. As she combed my hair she pulled it with such force that despite me saying ouch on sever occasions she did not cease. She didn't trim any of the hair that framed my face nor did she ask where my parting sat. The whole while she was asking her colleagues who were all now sat drinking at the salon bar what the time was and how she still needed to put her making up on when she finished with my hair. The whole hair cut was completely rushed, to the extent that when i got home and looked in the mirror it was plain to see that my bob was uneven with my hair being longer on the left. My experience at this salon was awful and the customer service was possible the worst I have come across. I will categorically never be visiting this salon again.
