Tis the time of year when friends and family gather around in a desperate attempt to offload their bloody huge marrows upon one another.
We now have several of the humongous monstrosities sitting in our kitchen. So what should we do with them? Any recipe suggestions let us know below!

One of our Chefs has had to take unexpected time off due to a family emergency. As the kitchen will be short staffed for a while we please ask our customers to book prior to coming, in order to stagger the food orders for the chef.
Walk-ins may have to be turned away or face long waiting times during busier periods.

Lentil nutroast (yes it is a totally cliche vegetarian dish sorry😂) with a rich red onion gravy, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pudding. Vegan option available too!

Frozen take away meals now available. All vegan except the macaroni cheese bakes.

Utterly delightful! A proper country pub with charming staff, very pretty décor, and most importantly excellent food. I actually found it difficult to choose (not used to having that much choice as a veggie) but would have been very happy with anything from the menu. I normally work on Sundays so to come out for a pub lunch was a proper treat. It was worth the 50min drive, we will definitely be back.

Used to visit under previous ownership and only found out last week that it was still running as a veggie pub. So back we came and have to say if anything the menu has improved. Thoroughly recommend the Arancini, Battered Halloumi and Eton Mess. Best visited with a group so you can try all the food on offer :)

Used to come regularly with friends and family when it was owned by the previous people and have visited their new pub too. Brought mum for her birthday on Sunday and it was amazing food, my other half eats meat(both mum and I veggie) and he actually didn't know what to eat as there was so much choice.

Lovely food, great value and so colourful and I have to say *whispers* I actually prefer it now to then. Fabulous!! We will be back!

Such an amazing pub offering absolutely delicious food. It's so nice having a local pub that provides such good vegan AND gluten free food. My husband is coeliac and it's a treat he gets to eat quality food like that when we are out! The atmosphere is lovely and the staff-SO friendly and helpful. We are new to Suffolk but have visited here twice in the past couple of months and will definitely be coming back here regularly :)

My sister and I happened on this pub accidentally - and what a find! Friendly, helpful, wonderful choice on the menu, even though neither of us is vegetarian. the mushroom stroganoff, which I eat a lot of in various places, was absolutely the best ever - huge variety of mushrooms. Wonderful flavours.

It was so good that we will make a special trip back there at some time - which is quite something as we live nearly 100 miles away and it isn't on any of our normal routes! Annie & Sally

My family and I visited this lovely place on Sunday for lunch,my brother in laws choice as it was his birthday ,my husband and I were the only vegetarians in the group of 6,on arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming,after being seated we were asked what drinks would we like;a couple of us were undecided and the lovely young lady went through several options making it easy to choose,then the menu, well what can I say the choice was fabulous,I had the gruyere cheese and chive croqeuttes with sweet chilli sauce dip and side salad for starters,delicious,main I decided on the seasonal mushroom stroganoff also delicious and I squeezed in the most massive coffee cheesecake for dessert,well it would be rude not too! Overall the food was fantastic the presentation was clean fresh looking,inviting you to eat,we had such an enjoyable time,the rest of our party who were not veggies also said what a lovely tasty meal,so thankyou and we will back for sure �

Lovely this place ! Visited for a family meal last night .... vodka battered cauliflower starter followed by Thai green curry main were fabulous Rounded off with cherry sponge and custard !! The carnivores in our group loved it too . Will definitely be back when we next visit Suffolk. �

I had such a lovely lunch here yesterday with my partner and friends. It is a great place with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The owners are so friendly, and this really adds to the experience. I was excited to see a traditional nut roast on the menu which is one of my favourites, so I opted for that, as did my partner and friends. I was so excited to have a vegan Yorkshire Pudding with it too, which is not an easy thing to do, and this one was really good! We decided to go for the Chocolate and Date pudding with Ice Cream for dessert, which was big enough to share in my opinion, and that was delicious! I am sorry I did not get pictures - I tucked in so quickly as it was so good and I forgot! I will go back soon so will take some then. Highly recommended to all - vegan or otherwise!

I can’t recommend this place enough! We’ve been three times now and the food has been amazing each time, even the non-veggies have loved it! Definitely recommend the tofu chocolate torte (which is suitable for vegans too)

I can't believe I haven't found this place sooner!!! Fantastic meal, amazing food & such generous portions! For someone who is dairy intolerant it was amazing to be able to have such a wide variety of food to choose from. Safe to say I will definitely be coming back & telling everyone how great it was!

Awesome food run by lovely people... Great selection of delicious veggie and vegan food.... Been going over the years and the new (ish) owners are great for this place. My wife & I had lunch their with one of our sons last week (17 & Vegan) We all had something different and every dish was gorgeous... Can't recommend highly enough!

Amazing food, lovely staff and errrr great food! Even my meat eating boyfriend loves it!!

Amazing food lovely atmosphere, my partner isn't veggie but loves the food. A definite visit for anyone who would like to try a tasty meal

A really good menu with lots of choice for each course. Portion sizes were generous and everything was piping hot.

We went for lunch on Sunday and the special “roast” was excellent. My husband had the French onion soup to start which was very flavoursome but overly salty for his taste. Otherwise a great meal and a return trip is a definite.
