Our new menu launches tomorrow 12pm🍝☕️🍾 so make sure you pop in for a bite to eat and try our new meals and drinks you won't be disappointed!!🎉

We visit here often for great value food & good service. The menu updates regularly and food is really reasonably priced & good portion sizes.

We met up with our daughter n four grandchildren yesterday. They don't live in manchester so try to meet where we can all get to. From entering we was all very impressed, firstly by the size of it, secondly the play areas for the little ones, we had 2 n 4 yr old. Also the grab machines kept the 10 yr old twins occupied. Mum was able to sit n relax but could see all kiddies, also able to chat without little ones interupting us. Lol. We ordered food which staff was very helpful with n told us about offers on children's meals etc, there wasn't a lot in so we didn't have long to wait for our meals. We all enjoyed our food which was excellent. Then kids went back to play while we chatted. The staff was all lovely and took time to chat n intersperse with the children as well. Everyone was very pleasant while at the same time efficient. We spent a lovely family afternoon. We will definately be returning for more family meals, and in between me n my hubby will be travelling up for meals as well.

Even the kids asked "when are we coming again". Everyone of us was very impressed with the Vernon Arms. Thank you and we'll done to all the staff.

We have be going for family birthdays etc for the last 2 years and also just poping in when in the erea allways good service and exselent food never had any problems here

We go here whenever we have something to celebrate or just fancy eating out, the food is really good and the staff are very friendly and efficient, we would Highley recommend this eatery xxx

We av been comeing hear 4 many yrs now n av never been disappointed the food is always hot n very nice the staff are very friendly n helpful I would recommend the Vernon arms 2 any 1 1st class service every time

Some people have said the food in the Vernon ain't the best ... I had mega mixed grill and my wife the fish and chips both meals were outstanding and at the right price

Had a fantastic time yesterday staff couldn't do enough for us got us a table near tv for football right in the corner lovely food couldn't fault it at all defo be back x

Food was spot on I had the sizzlers mix chicken and rib combo it was cooked perfect and staff very polite and friendly Defo go back 👍🏻😄

Been here so many times the food is excellent always spot on and the portion sizes are really good too, would recommend to anyone😊

We have come a lot over the last couple of years with friends and family. We've always enjoyed our meals. There has been few time we're we had to wait for our meal but do understand there busy. The only thing I was disappointed with my husband was smoking his e cig and member of staff came over and said he wasn't aloud to smoke it. I do understand they have there policy's but put signs up to make customers aware of it. There are a lot of people who are now using them.

We enjoyed our meal , the staff were helpful , polite and courteous. We go regularly on our own or with a large family group .

Nice, friendly, and good service. Food good for price, bar service quick and friendly, will recommend to friends and family

Well the food was ok once they got it right kinda ...there was a long wait so we had several hungry children at least 5 of our meals were wrong and once they finally corrected it all they did give us free puds. 🖒 there was 15 of us so we all had one. Apart from my daughter who is lactose intolerant so they refunded her meal. The waiter was good couldn't stop helping us. They certainly need more staff. This is why they got an ok instead of rubbish.

Very nice pub/restaurant, food nice, just didnt have any lettuce for my meal and someone nipped to the shops to get some, i was quiet polite and said it didnt matter as we had two small children with us and wanted their meal, i was offered alternatives, but i think Chef should have picked up on this earlier, its not that it was busy, maybe 6 or so other people dining in such a huge place.

I'm sorry, but I'm off to the carousel pub for my next meal out ! I feel the quality of the food has gone down, and at the end of the day I've worked hard for my money and I want to know I'm going to enjoy my meal out ! Food used to be very good here, but not now !

Service was appalling 15 min wait at bar. Cutlery dirty, food warm at best nearly cold. A bad experience won't be going back in a hurry .
