Would like to thank The Victoria Lounge for being amazing recently. I'd booked the Prosecco Afternoon Tea for a large group, only to have to cancel due to the 'Beast from the East' I rebooked, only to be almost thwarted by the 'Beast from the East 2!' Fortunately, most of the group made it and the afternoon tea was fantastic. My kids were made to feel really welcome and were absolutely thrilled by their portions! The food was great and the service even better. Those of us that braved the weather stayed on for a few hours and made the most of the gin menu. Would definitely recommend and will be back again soon.

Went today for lunch first time we have ever eaten here , food was beautiful, staff were so lovely we liked the dressing on our salad and were given a free sample to take home and an added bonus the music was spot on will be returning very soon x

Went for Mothers Day. Staff friendly and service great. Lovely food served in a relaxing environment. Good Wine List. Thanks for a lovely couple of hours guys. Will be back.

We had a lovely afternoon lunch here yesterday! CouldnŌĆÖt believe how nice the food was and the staff were all so friendly!! I would highly recommended the beef chilli yum! just a shame we donŌĆÖt live nearer or weŌĆÖd be in here all the time!!!

Perfect afternoon tea here today. We were looked after from arrival and nothing was too much trouble. As my friend has said, the chef went over and above to look after us with her favourite chocolate strawberry cups .... amazing. The staff continue to look after you and tend to whatever you want. Highly recommended

O.M.G. The steak. Never had a well-done steak done to perfection before. Clean, tidy, felt like royalty.

Don't go 'spoons. Go here.

Just had a lunch for eleven people, one vegan (me!) So lovely to be catered for without me having to question what's in each dish. A good number of choices. The pate and sheeze and onion pie were delicious. Soy latte no problem. Will definitely return.

I went on Saturday for a friend's baby shower, we had a prosseco afternoon tea, it was amazing!!! The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us, there was so much absolutely gorgeous food we even took some home in boxes they supplied as they wanted us to get our monies worth xxx

I have ate at the Victoria lounge a few times , food is always really delicious & the service is 5 star. I also went yesterday for afternoon tea for my birthday, it was fabulous! Many of us couldn't finish it all , so took some of the cakes home. Will be returning again for afternoon tea ’┐Į

Had a fab night! Good home cooked food! Fab Cocktails and large selection of gin and good company. What more could you ask for!

Four of us called in on Saturday night and, after a couple of drinks, decided to eat. Had the meat platter starter between us and it was more than enough. Then had the Steak & Kidney pie which was wonderful. The staff really looked after us throughout the evening which made it a thoroughly enjoyable evening

Food was delicious, drink selection is great and the staff are friendly and helpful.

First time eating here and it didn't disappoint. Had a Sunday dinner which was lovely and the butternut soup starter was delicious.

Come in quite a lot for drinks, nice atmosphere and great range of drinks. Staff are really pleasant. Have had food on a number of occassions and has always been good. Had a roast dinner today and its one of the best Sunday roasts I've had in a long time. Really enjoyed it.

Called in for our tea and must say the food was fabulous.

Will be calling again soon.

Brilliant Sunday roast, me & my partner did the 2 courses deal, with chocolate fudge cake for afters, great price for two lovely dishes each. Really chilled atmosphere, and the two male staff members who served us were both friendly. Would really recommend for food or a laid back drink.

All had the midweek special menu at ┬Ż6.95 per head. I had the Beef Madras which was delicious & my daughter had the homemade cheese & onion pie. Highly recommend eating here ’┐Į
