The Village Inn

First time here. Service was very welcoming and the carvery was very good. The beef was melt in the mouth. Will definitely come again.

Very nice carvery ,not a huge choice of vegetables but what there was was lovely, meat choices were good ,well worth the money ,drinks were also very reasonably priced, we will definitely go back

The Village Inn could really do with a 'Meet & Greet'. We witnessed confusion from guests walking straight up to the bar and not joining the queue. Grab a table first if the pub is busy. The atmosphere is rather lovely. We sat in an alcove near the gravy pots this could do with a window opening. Rather a nice pub for families. Perhaps put on a few extra staff on when really busy.

Revamped since our last visit. Good value offering 3 different plate sizes. Always seems busy. Not a place to linger over your meal.

Very disappointing, waited for 10 minutes to be acknowledged by staff only to be told when ordering they were not serving pizzas or burgers. Unfortunately 2 of our party had already ordered and collected their carvery and therefore had to eat their meals while the rest of us waited with no food. A sign as you went in to say it was carvery only would have been appreciated and saved us time looking at the menu and waiting to order. Very bad service from staff who appear to just not care. The menus state there is free WiFi but there was none available. No air conditioning so on a day like today it was very warm inside. First visit since change of hands and we won't be bothering again.

A good buffet style breakfast "all you can eat" at a reasonable price. Set us up for the day! Good friendly service too.

Nice veg, good choice of meat for 7pm on a Sunday, play area and Wi-Fi kept the children happy. Decent price too.

Huge portions of food, make sure you are very hungry. Prices are very good, can get very busy. Reasonable turn around in waiting time. Overall food quality is pretty good.
