Combined Cadet Force (CCF)
The Vyne is one of a small number of state schools
that has a CCF. Students join on a voluntary basis in Year 8 in either the Army or RAF sections. The CCF parades on Friday after school and runs an annual camp during the summer term. Cadets learn basic military and leadership skills and will usually be given the opportunity to be involved in activities such as glider flying, shooting and canoeing.
