My wife and I stayed at the warrener for two nights the food was excellent the staff were friendly and very helpful I would definitely recommend the warrener to anybody OneNote to add if you are arriving on a Friday and want to park get here before 5

I go to the Warrener very regular and love it the quite relaxing and lovely atmosphere. food is above average by far, me and my boyfriend who visit never had a problem there. My boyfriend always asks for bread as he's French and they eat bread with most meals never been charged I know it's just bread but little things mean a lot! Staff are great here too!

Came in Sunday with my mother we hadn't booked was met by a lovely waitress I think was Carol she told us she's been there since it opened the Sunday roast was fantastic and when she suggested desert we both had to try the cheesecake and we both enjoyed it. Would I recommend this place yes. And will look forward to my next visit.

Attended the Warrener with my husband and 5 children along with our local Mini Club for breakfast. Great place, lovely food, value for money. Definitely recommend and will be returning.

Lovely meal although I only had 2 faults:

1) no crayons given to my daughter to play with

And

2) we ordered her the veggie sticks as a starter but the carrot and cucumber weren't cut up thinly at all, it was like they were cut up for an adult

User

First time here. Had a gd meal. Although no bangers & mash for my daughter as run out of sausages. No choc fudge cake for my other half as they had run out.

I enjoyed all my food though

Busy chain pub attached to Premier Inn in Thetford. Nice, friendly staff, serving all the usual Whitbread brand beers & lagers plus some nice local ales (Ghost Ship) - but a rather uninspired menu, all the usual suspects for a Prem Inn restaurant plus the “Festive Menu”..

Still dinner was tasty, well prepared and served with a smile.

Well done chef & staff!!

Service wasn’t good. Had to go to the bar for a drink. Steak was burnt on one side and they even turned it over so I wouldn’t see. First mouthful was charcoal. Other than that everything else was ok.

User

We ordered 4 meals as there was 4 people and 2 meals came,we waited about 5 mins then asked where other meals were,we were told they were on the way,the two meals were eaten or would have gone cold and the other two meals arrived 15 mins later.awful service I think

User

This place gas certainly gone downhill. Visited 18 Nov with friends and won’t be hurrying back. Service was average but food was poor. Chicken gouging starter was luke warm & dry as was my scampi main. Ordered Cadbury Sunday for dessert and the chocolate tasted cheap, it was over priced for the size of the portion and contents. None of our group were impressed with their options either. Never again!!!

Appalling welcome/service (again) here! "You can sit at these restaurant tables but you have to order from the bar as the waitress isn't serving here" This from a waitress!!

Note....tables in question were part of the main restaurant!!!

Went somewhere else!!!

We went for a birthday meal and it was very poor the deserts were ordered and came out at different times and all but 2 of could eat it :( we did get some money off the meal but I don;t think we will be going there again

User

We went for a 17th birthday and food was inedible service was disgusting ... half the starters where missing ... took over an hour and a half for any food to come out was completely inedible... we ended up in MacDonald's as we still hadn't eaten... I will not be returning

Usually enjoy our visit to the Warrener. But not yesterday. On arriving was told we had to order immediately as Breakfast was finishing in 10 minutes. That was fine but when we got our food it was dried up and warm. And no one checked back to ask if everything was ok. Was very disappointed on this occasion. And certainly a waste of £19.00.

Terrible meal last night.

It's supposed to be a premium establishment to eat in and in the past has been good.

I had the rib eye steak not cooked rare but more medium, a few manky chips that tasted reheated and a few soggy mushrooms, there was no salad or presentation at all and tasted very bland.

One person on our table ordered a prawn starter for himself and his son and they got about 8 tiny battered prawns and a small dip each and the cost was £6,95 he laughed and told them to take them back, his son then ordered a burger from the manager and when we had all finished our food his burger still had not come, the manger forgot about it.

Terrible service, long long waits and not worth the wait.

I'd not eaten all day so just ate it and thought I'd put my thoughts here.

WON'T BE GOING BACK

I have just visited the Warrener family restaurant in Thetford this afternoon with my family of 6.

All I can say is we will never be returning and I will be writing a letter of complaint to head office.

I have posted a picture of my meal that cost me £11.50.

This is how it was presented to me, I had 14 chips, a boil in the bag ribs and a tough piece of dry cremated chicken.

After complaining to the manager his response was "the portion size is controlled by head office, we can't do anything about it" seriously lacked any kind of customer service skills.

If it wasn't for the fact all 3 children were already eating, we would of left.

User

Chicken wasn't cooked so sent it back, although cost of meal was refunded and a further meal was provided that wasn't cooked properly either so left the restaurant, this wasn't the first time the quality of a meal here has been very poor so now will not be returning sgain
